Rockability is awesome; can't get enough of the Stray Cat's at the moment. Punkability is pretty cool to, The Living End if you've heard of them, is awesome. Don't like there newest album especially much though..

Most unfortunate rock band break-up?
the sound replied to BeemerBoy's topic in Random, Random, Random
^ Agreed. Dire Straits to. Yeah, i have to agree again. There 'hiatus' has gone on long enough to count as a break-up. -
I hate Fall Out Boy. A lot. I can't stand their horrible, un-interesting and hypocritical music, almost as much as i can't stand the people who like them.

Selling Lemonade at a stand with bacwards letters is a good way to start.

LOL! I did pretty much exactly the opposite last September. Melbourne - London via Singapore. One comment, late night Singaporean TV is really, really boring, especially when your flight has been delayed.

That's pretty awesome for a fundraiser, skydiving. Usually it something that you probaly shouldn't enjoy, like shaving your head bald. Good to see you raised a firi bit of money.

653, of which most of it is Pink Floyd stuff.

^ I guess you didn't like Kidnation then? Looks like a pretty boring bunch this season. The goths were awesome last season. Too bad they yielded the wrong people.

Rocko's Modern life, Beavis and Butthead, Robin. Was Daria from the 90's? Seriously, look up Robin cartoons on youtube, best cartoons ever.

The American exchange student at our school says Obama. I say that the entire world vote for president. The US president pretty much rules the world, why shouldn't we have a vote?

Our school has pretty much blocked everything except this site. Nearly every proxy sever we could find on yahoo (typing proxy into google came up with a forbidden message) was blocked. Even sites that our teaches ask us to go to during class are blocked half of the time. Stupid, eh. -
Europa Park Discussion Thread
the sound replied to Ultracoasters's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For some reason I really can't see this being a Mack ride, despite the park being a showcase for Mack. I wouldn't have thought that this sort of ride was what Mack was in the market for. -
My family and I have a trip to Europe planned between the 28th of December and 15th of January to London, Paris and Geneva. My parents have agreed to one amusement park during that time and I'm struggling to find places that i have not yet been to that are open. Do you have any suggestions as to which parks are fun during this time of year/ which parks are actually open?

You know if this happened in a nation outside of america, the media would have left the story and the family of the incident alone by now and also no-one would be sued. Or attempted to be sued. Anyway, I think this now counts as the second roller-coaster related darwin award, as sad for freinds and family and witnesses as it is. The first being published in volume IV about the woman who wanted "airtime". http://darwinawards.com/darwin/darwin2003-12.html

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! SBBB got released last Thursday, picked up my copy on Saturday. I finished the Subspace on Normal just minutes ago. I gotta tell you, i was really impressed with the single player mode. There was some really really cool level designs, and all the cut scenes were really cool, as was the music throughout the game. Haven't had a chance to play normal brawl with anyone other than myself as yet, so i can't really comment on that bit yet. I will note that if less effort had been used in all the fancy stages and such for the normal brawl, and it had instead been put into some finishing touches in the Subspace, the game would have been even better. Graphics were good, nothing particually special. Character moves interesting, controls worked out okay. I'll give the game 9.5. -
Everyone at our school plays that. Don't see what's so good about it though..

No, i have no idea what that is... Do you think the world should convert to the Metric system?
-
The servo up the end of our road is selling it for $1.60 Australian per litre. Which is scary, because not a few years ago it was only 90 cents. I have no idea what that is is gallons or US dollars. Why isn't America converting to the Metric system? It would make things so much easier for the rest of the world.

I'm sure the park has planted other plants in the park, so there's not much of a chance that your going to get poisoned after going there. They probably already are well aware of the Poison Sumac anyway.
-
Lucky for you, they aren't around anymore. And lucky for you you didn't grow up in Australia during the 90's. Man were they popular.

Sorry to hear about this. I wish it would rain in my screwy hemisphere. But oh no. Stupid El Nino exists. -
^ I don't get why that's so dumb... it was just that guy's opinion.
