I'm glad I finally went and rode both coasters there, especially the Tree Top Racers. That was really a lot of fun, in my opinion. And I rode its twin at Wonderland in Amarillo last spring. Too many of these small parks are being lost, but it's no surprise. The land is far too valuable to keep a small amusement park that really doesn't exactly pack in the crowds. This is more or less what happened to drive-in movie theaters. Eric -
I didn't bother going to the site, but is the Danbury Mint doing a series of these? And I agree that the quality of Franklin Mint stuff ain't that great, as I have a few things from there. The model looks cool, though I'm not sure where I'd put something like that. Eric

^ I tried to ride that last May, but it was down for maintenance. It looks like a pretty quirky ride. If I remember correctly, it was O.D. Hopkins' first coaster and designed and built sort of by trial and error (check out the second loop in pictures on The Roller Coaster Database. We're supposed to be going out again next year, so hopefully I'll get on it then! Eric

I'm on call for jury duty this week, so I'm supposed to call each evening before to see if I have to show up. This morning, I completely forgot and called about two hours late (didn't have to show up after all). My point is that I will most likely forget all about Tatsu and won't get the info till I go online later in the day. I guess my interest in these things is sort of waning... Eric -
People riding their bikes on the sidewalk. Here in Camarillo, bike lanes are painted all over most major streets, but the jackasses still ride down the middle of the sidewalk. I walk quite a bit, and I'm tired of having to dodge these morons. Get in the street where you belong! Eric

We're out of M&Ms, so you'll have to make do with raisins. Eric
