  1. ^ Pie eater. < Pie liker. V Pie eyed!
  2. I've only ridden Fire Dragon, but the idea is great and I can see B&M doing it again somewhere else. Eric
  3. Nice TR. I like the black and white. Eric
  4. Popcorn from kernels has to meet military specifications. Why isn't there a No. 8 plastic (referring to the numbers in the triangle thingie)?
  5. Some weekends have been rather busy, even on Sundays. But it's better to go on a Sunday than a Saturday. Eric
  6. "Haha leave it to Eric to come up with something like that!" (ethans_dad06) Thanks for the kind word. I gave you a laugh, with my condiments... Eric
  7. Because trying to figure it out keeps the Tylenol people in business. How did fast food places decide on 44-oz. for their super size drinks?
  8. I'm no structural engineer, but I'd guess that steel is used on these rides to give extra support wherever there are crossovers. Look also on the last curve (on shots taken from the Sky Tower). There is steel where the other track crosses under. Eric
  9. "Well, the Mysterious Yellow B&M just got a bud to keep him company. And he's fire engine RED." (SeaWhippet) The mystery's solved. It's Ketchup and Mustard---The Ride. Eric
  10. ^ A whole bunch of "virtual pets" came out after the Tamagotchi did, and they pretty much worked the same way. But regardless of whether they were cats, dogs, whatever...somehow, some way, I found other ways to spend my time... Eric
  11. ^ Thanks for the report, William! Only a month left... And the park continues to look great. If I can, maybe I'll head out sometime between now and May 21. Eric
  12. I have not been to the Scandia in Victorville, but did visit the one in Ontario about 12 years ago (haven't been back, though). As I recall, the bumper boats were exceptionally fun because they're not just in a big square pool, but actually have little waterways you can go down and get a chase going with fellow boaters. During that visit, I did ride the smaller coaster (I think it's a Miler) a couple of times. Today, not being much of a credit whore like I was then, I'd probably skip it. In the pictures, I noticed that the Scandia Screamer was running five-car trains. I could have sworn that they were six cars at one time; perhaps they removed one for some reason. But that is a fun coaster and shows that Miler is indeed capable of big thrills. Eric
  13. ^ You may have inspired me...I haven't made anything in my bread machine in ages. At one time, I made whole wheat pizza dough for my chicken pesto pizza---which I haven't made in quite some time. Those machines are the best thing ever to have in a kitchen...right up there with a George Foreman Grill, one of which I have and use almost daily. Eric
  14. I didn't think anyone still had these things... But who knows? Maybe they'll make a comeback. Eric
  15. I make breakfast before I leave, but eat it on the way to wherever I'm headed. Do you wear a watch of any kind?
  16. "Yolk" begins with "y," so it must be yellow because no other color begins with a "y" and that wouldn't make any more sense than this answer. Why did they choose Benjamin Franklin to be on the $100 bill?
  17. It looks like the bridge has a little divider thingie where perhaps chain poles or a solid set of bars will go to divide entering and exiting guests. The structure over the entrance looks cool. Eric
  18. I haven't seen the fog on X2 for a long time. They could improv it by having more of it. But even without the fog, the ride is still fun. Eric
  19. Everyone should know by now that I do a lot of kidding... I was gone for a month of Sundays and all my info was here when I got back. Eric
  20. Al Gore made it up to distract everyone from his failed acting career. Why do fools fall in love?
  21. ^ European...lives in Europe. < American...lives in California. V Egyptian...lives in Denial!
  22. I have both credits at Adventure City; the Treetop Racers is a lot of fun. Of note, an identical wild mouse is at Wonderland in Amarillo TX, and I have that credit as well. Eric
  23. ^ Personally, I think they're hilarious, but then I like cats anyway. Eric
  24. ^ See? You stay away and all of your details (under your screen name)...VANISH! Eric
  25. ^ That's possibly where some of the equipment is for the on-ride sound. Just a guess, though. Eric
