  1. I agree on Golden Horse. I never did or going to ride one of their rides until they stop to stealing stuff. I don't like it when companies need to steal from others to get their products. I must say they aren't actually the brightest even, to steal from Vekoma? come on, they're not the worst, but surly aren't the best either.
  2. ^ Know how you feel. It's to bad I don't have any sight on riding this beauty in the near future, but it surly is in the distant future.
  3. I'm not to interested in Kiddie credits. I rode them in the past when I was a kid, but I see them more as beginner coasters. Now when I'm near a kiddie coaster I just don't ride them, I "lost" some credits by doing this though. (I do have some strict rules for myself to consider it a kiddie coaster or a family/thrill coaster, to still ride as much coaster I can find.)
  4. ^ If you ask me it's good considering that they plan this to the SLC: Source I think they had some spare paint form both Xpress and Speed of Sound's last paint jobs. Really hopped they just left Goliath's supports purple and did a new fresh coat.
  5. It's great to see the trains have arrived. Although I can not say much about it at this time (without the theming and stuff) I'm happy. Seeing those pictures makes me realize this coaster is just perfect for the skyline of the park. I have to say Those are some nice cool fog pictures.
  6. My next park will be The Efteling, but that will be next year in January.
  7. When coming to the Netherlands a visit to the Efteling (like the 2 above me suggest) is a must. Personally I will suggest Toverland, It may not be the biggest park to find but it overs fun for all ages. Also if your kids like roller coasters they can ride the majority of them, the smallest won't be able to ride the booster bike though. Anyway I suggest you take a look at it.
  8. If I'm correct placing the flag on the highest or last piece is different by company. Because I know GCI is a company who indeed places the flag on the highest bent, and by B&M I only see it on the last piece placed.
  9. I'll participate in the lowest contest, whit lots of shame I present to you a total of 3 of that list. Even using: "It's because I'm stuck at Europe." isn't a proper excuse.
  10. ^ Being from the Netherlands and a big fan of the Swiss coasters (Both B&M and Intamin) I really hope on a B&M in my own country. Ontopic, really good photo's. I've been to the park earlier this year before the rapid opened, I must say it's a beautiful park that isn't as big as it deserves to be.
  11. Heide park has updated their site with a Bau-cam (Building camera). If you ask me the position isn't the best blocking the entire view with the shop. There is also more background now, giving us more insight on the theme. It looks like a old, spooky, middle ages castle, with makes the bat/Dracula (Since the original books talked about Dracula living in Transylvania) theme more and more likely.
  12. Love the forever alone guy. All I wondered after watching was why a Danish beer company would use a Dutch coaster. I think it's a very good commercial very well done, plus 2 things I like the most on this planet, beer and roller coasters. (Looking at the video they might as well paint the supports green instead of the black as they do now.)
  13. That support behind the wall also looks very close if you ask me. It will aether just miss or hit it. Good to see that the chain is on site (Check Koppen's source for picture) they keep it going there.
  14. This is really ridiculous they already remove the station's scaffolding at one side: So the finished track. Shop has been isolated and the walls are covert. Station progressing. Scars are hand made. I have a feeling the rumored bat theme will come. Track inspection. Stations roof got themed. Scaffolding removed here. I really hope for a sinister theme, or els this doesn't look great. Getting ready to close the footers. Lots of footers prepared. A real beauty like this. The 2 B&M Immelmann's in the park. Source. Man this construction doesn't slow down one bit.
  15. - Toverland (First visit.) - Walibi Holland - Walibi Belgium (First visit.) I'm so happy with my 8th new credits, this wasn't my year and it made some comfort.
  16. This construction has some serous speed, I don't even see them slow down after this. The park is one and a half month away from winter closure and I kinda wonder how it will look then. It looks good.
  17. And an other update found. 3 or 4 pieces left to go for full circuit. Airtime-hill is complete. The last pieces of track are brought to the construction site. Last part that needs to be done. Station goes into concrete. I noticed that the re-roofing has been but to a hold. The concrete. Is that scar deliberately or just from drying? Time will tell. Looks good. Source.
  18. Have found an other update": Immelmann hasn't changed that much. Shop however. The airtime-hill goes to the Immelmann. Also the pieces between the Zero G and Immlemann are being lift in place. The shop gets along nicely. Airtime-hill is almost done. Sky-view from the Drop Tower. The almost completed track work. Source and more pictures here. Its ridiculous how fast this is going. I seem them finishing track work in a day or 2. Anyway it looks beautiful look forward to see it finished in 2014 for myself.
  19. A new Trip report of today. This time Walibi Belgium. After today my 2013 season is already over with now 49 credits thanks to the 5 I got today. (I'm aware there are 6, but I need to confess I don't ride the kiddie coasters.) Arriving at the park. First Schwarzkopf (although altered) for me. No theming at all inside or outside of the tube. Calamity Mine. Dalton Terror fun. Loup-Garou is more comfortable than his brother but still a pain. Vekoma SLC's I had to for the credit. Cobra was more of a highlight today, have to admit it. A round Rapid. Never expected the Water ceiling to be that effective. Missed a picture of Palais du Genie, rode that here. Flywheel. Safety rules in English: Don't eat, don't drink, don't throw with sack or little brother. So you know. Final ride of the day already. Time to go.
  20. My last now is my first Schwarzkopf Psyké Underground today:
  21. Looks really great. They have a great speed with the construction to see this much work done on a ride for next year. Look at the shop here: Yesterday this was nothing. I say take it easy guys, you have another 6 months or so. source.
  22. An extra update today: Station with undercoat. Bridge over the first drop. Bridge on his place. (Still wondering if this will be part of the queue.) Placing the highest piece. Source.
  23. Picture of them reaching the highest point of the Winged Coaster. Source. Looks good.
  24. ^ Looks odd. They place (or at least make a attempt) next piece on the Zero G Roll in one shot, and when you look at the placing of the Lift hill pieces it's not there. Construction is going good, I see them reaching the top tomorrow.
  25. ^ Since Super Wirbel's fate is unknown I really hope for it to stay at least 1 more season. I haven't had the chance to ride it yet and a credit is a credit. Just wondering here, I'm not German. Can a park get permission to build a coaster in Germany without knowing exactly where? I mean it isn't smart in my eye's to announce a ride without the prober paperwork, It could still be stopped then. I'm really looking forward to next year visiting this park for the first time. Expedition GeForce is a coaster I'm looking at for years now and I'm really exited to try it out, also the new coaster will be my first premier who seem to have some interesting rides.
