  1. Well According to that list Peta is the next step up the ladder. Petacoaster? I mean I can't see S&S naming this, I think in their eye's this is just a El Loco that is the worlds tallest coaster. I mean I can be wrong, but until why not call it a Petacoaster?
  2. That Drop n Splash looks weird and fun. I'm pretty pumped up to hear which park will pass the 500 ft mark. I just thought of this, should we get a new name for them? I mean till the 199 ft mark we don't name them. 200 ft --> 299 ft is called Mega or Hyper (correct me if I'm wrong here, I'm confused here every time.) 300 ft --> 399 ft is called Giga +400 ft Strata. So is this a strata or something new?
  3. More on Facebook now. 525 feet high? Man that's huge. 7000 feet long and Build by S&S Sansei. I thought we wouldn't pass the 500 feet mark this soon.
  4. Reading TPR Twitter and read the tallest coaster of the world, that will be build in Florida, will be announced at IAAPA soon. IAAPA is full of good stuff this year.
  5. Man the Goliath train looks good, totally love it. Lots of trains there.
  6. So the new GCI train is actually the same just for 1 person? Okay, looks good en well themed. Also B&M booth I love to see a picture of that every year. Thanks for the update.
  7. It almost split away from my attention that IAAPA is this week. Love the TPR updates of IAAPA every year. Looking forward to the pictures of some interesting stuff that's there.
  8. Giant B&M loop, blue box, yellow rails and orange support. Why this combination? I enjoy B&M coasters and want to do as much of them as possible, and I like this color scheme a lot (somehow). Within the loop there stand (although hard to read) Roller Coaster Traveler and next to it 3Bross, So it makes RCT3Bross (My user name). The reason i made RCT red was to point out it has nothing to do with the yellow 3 or the blue Bross, so it actually says Roller Coaster Traveler 3 Bross, it has a certain meaning, I'm the only Roller Coaster Traveler of 3 brothers.
  9. The park uploaded this video showing the delivery of the second train, a real good look at the Demon heads and a close up on the theming. I think that Walt guy didn't have much information to give. But now seeing the heads better then the pictures I kinda like them. I still see the Swarm heads in them (I swear I can't see a big resembling in any other head other then the Swarm.) but I think the paint job is much better. Still hoping here the next video is a test of the ride.
  10. I'm looking forward to it. It's a nice park I think they can do something with A Krake style Dive Machine (I don't think a 8D Sheikra style would fit for the park). Since its Merlin we talk about I have no problem believing the theming will be great. There is just one thing I hope, no lay-out clone of Krake. Yes Krake is a great ride but I prefer to see different lay-outs.
  11. I really hope the park makes some videos of the ride testing and upload them on-line. It's too bad the park is closed, that would have insured a test video.
  12. That's a lot of straight track. I don't know if I should go ride this coaster, I looked at the park (for how far you can call it a park) and €19,50 is a lot of money for 1 coaster (since I have no interest in the rest). If I have to pay that much I want true for my money and this ride doesn't offer much.
  13. It's a bit late in the year (considering the "most" parks make their final day of this season this weekend), but I heard of stranger things. Would be great to hear that this one is running too. 2013 year of the new hope?
  14. ^ According to RCDB it's a Zero G. So not the first inverted without a corkscrew. I see they're on a nice speed. Didn't expect the loop to be this far yet. (I don't check the Webcam every day so you I miss some parts.)
  15. ^ I must say that the Flying over the Rainforest trains look kinda like the Wild Eagle trains. I agree the trains all have some major similarities, but for me the small things made them all special. The Raptor's head looks nothing like the Swarm's. The back part of it's lead car and the shoulders look very much alike. X-Flight used to have a different body but then came Gatekeeper who copied it. Gatekeeper also has a predator bird like head on the main body as lead car. Both Wild Eagle and Flying over the Rainforest have the same body, only difference was the beak of the birds. In my eye's these look enough different to me (Perhaps the Wild Eagle and FotR are too alike) to make it count. This looks like a copy of the Swarms head with added claws. It kinda bugs me that it does.
  16. O boy, kind of a set back: Source. What's the o boy moment? Well look at them: I first mistook them for the Swarm. Notice the difference? Source image. There are only two differences I can see, 1 the big teeth have different colors and 2 it has claws instead of red lights. I'm really disappointed with the similarities. I have nothing against the look I mean they look great, but to be honest I like variation more. Who knows the back part doesn't look similar, we still need to have a good look on that.
  17. If you check the source of the source of those you see the second train has arrived too: Also a test seat seems to be there. The source. I really hope I can make this one my first winged coaster. Looks great.
  18. Looks very good, almost identical to the movies (Some details are missing on the front, but these could be added later). Still think this is one great concept, true to the intentions of the books. Looks good.
  19. That support you are talking about is the exit of the turnaround that comes after the high corkscrew after the first launch. That one and the straight support to the right of it is for the airtime-hill that will cross over the escalator at that point. Look at this image and you will most likely be able to figure it all out: *image I wasn't really talking about the small one far to the left. Near the escalator you have 3 big supports. The biggest of them I know is for the Corkscrew, and the smallest of these three is for the airtime hill after the turnaround. Then you have that very tilted one (closest to the escalator) that one confuse me, will it be that it's part of the corkscrew? It's a bit out of line with the bigger support and that's why I'm confused.
  20. Thanks for an other update. I always appreciate it when people make time to make construction updates when the park is closed. I'm a bit confused by the supports after the First launch. Could be the angle but it looks odd if you ask me. (I'm talking about picture 3. Perhaps someone can see whats up whit the support pointing to the building and can explain it to me.)
  21. It looks like they only need to bolt it and their done with the Dive. This is one good looking ride, I wished I could come to America next year and try it out.
  22. The story of the new ride has been but on the site: That's German so well I think a translation is needed. Sounds like Merlin goes on as usually. Still no name but I'm not surprised at all. Notice on the site itself the whole picture is shown (even with a guy winking at you, if you like too be winked at ). For construction self, the scaffolding around the shop is gone but no real progress to see. Also I noticed that the trains will be 6 rows long, instead of the usual 7 or 8 rows, something that caught my attention. If you want to hear the story in the park you can go 26th of October, before the pirate show they show it one more time.
  23. I give it a try, my year wasn't that good with lots of disappointment. *Best moment: Getting to ride 'd Wervelwind in Toverland. The ride would have been down thanks to the weather but that got better and it opened the later in the day. *Best individual ride: Goliath Walibi Holland. Best ride you can find in this area. *Funniest moment: I rode the Xpress in Walibi Holland when it started to rain pretty hard. So yeah I was pretty drenched when I entered the line again only to find it closed because of the rain. (was the only ride open before the park opens) So yeah people wondered what the happened to me, I could laugh that time. *Scariest moment: I have to say I was pretty scared in Radja River (Walibi Belgium). Almost fell out of the boat. *Strangest moment: Space Shot breakdown. When I was in Walibi Holland the Space Shot (S&S tower) broke down whit me on it. I thought what "happens here?". It was the first time a ride broke down with me riding it. So yeah was a bit strange but good for the experience. *Favorite individual park visit: Walibi Holland. Been to three parks this year. Walibi Holland has the best coasters of the three so yeah easy choice. *Nerdiest moment: Don't know if it count but I had to take a good look at the Flywheel of Turbine (Psyké Underground). I was just so happy seeing that machinery in real life. Good that the park decided to show it instead of covering it. *Favorite new experience: Psyké Underground. This ride I did two times that day and it's actually really fun and exiting getting launched that way. That's pretty much is it.
