Well, the park does have its good and bad days. Operations have been pretty good (especially on X2 and Goliath!) on everything except Tatsu and Batman. The park seems to be managed relatively well and the rides are still being maintained, but small details, such as the X2 music, seem to be losing importance to the management. It is almost starting to feel as if the park is running only to make money and it doesn't seem like the park is doing much to go "above and beyond". It seems like they are doing whatever they can do to get by, and not much more. It definitely doesn't have the "welcoming" feeling it had when Jay was Park President. He just gave the park more spirit and made it look good! I am not seeing that from Bonnie. For example, theming is becoming more minimal and not as maintained, and old signs (such as Shakes & Fries at 'What the Fried?'). As a regular park visitor, I have seen the changes in the park in these past few years.

I was intimidated just looking at it going up and dropping today. That thing is still crazy tall and those who are angry about it not going to the top of the tower haven't seen in in person yet. They were training all the ride ops today. And they had signs up in front of the ride saying that it was opening June 7th. But as for the rest of the park, it was dead this afternoon! 15 min. For Goliath, walk on with Rerides on Scream, short wait for Batman, 5 min. With single rider for GL (it's really flipping now). Walk on at Riddler with Single Rider, 30 minutes for Apocalypse, 10 for X2 (end of the line was right where they split you to the stairs or the ramp, really short for Summer! No audio but fire on full blast), and 40 for Tatsu. Not bad at all for a Friday in Summer! Operations were great for everything except Batman and Tatsu. Can't wait for Drop of Doom! I'm hoping that the EDT is rescheduled to the 6th, 7th, or 8th or else I won't be able to make it until the next weekend.

Just looked in the value book and saw that the free weekday in June admission is NOT valid tomorrow. Seriously!? I was gonna use my free friend tickets then and I have been planning that for weeks! So that's kinda ruined.. I have some people who have never been to the Mountain before too. Bummer.

You could also go forward in time and see what's happening in a hundred years!!!!!!

Millennium Force.

Knew they wouldn't get it open on time. Doesn't surprise me at all. Same thing as last year. I thought they would've learned. I guess not. Well whatever. The 7th works better for me anyways.. Hopefully we will get preview rides the 5th or 6th... Bet there won't be a GoBigCam announcing the delay. But whatever, I was kinda expecting it. I guess the "big news" that was supposed to drop tomorrow was dropped a day early.... But seriously I wonder what they are announcing tomorrow..

^ I would hope so. That's in less than 48 hours. I just signed up for EDT on Friday!

^Yes. it would seem quite challenging to do annual maintenance on this thing without quick access.

^^The cables that were connected to them are already gone, but those beams are probably there to stay. ^It's just a different angle. The cars are in the same place. This thing is gonna be insane! THANK YOU for being open on Friday!

Please be open on Friday, please be open on Friday, PLEASE be open on Friday!!! This is gonna be fun.

I'm going to the park on Friday and I'm hoping that I will be able to get a ride in! And maybe for Superman to be open.. But if not, I will go back on Sunday and get rides in on Lex and Superman then leave.

I'm wondering what they are going to do on Friday the 29th since media day is the 28th and Lex opens on the 30th. I might go the 29th since I am not available on the 30th. But if it's not open then I will go July 1st.

Yesterday the cars were covered up and work carts were still working on some small pieces up on the tower. Testing has NOT begun yet. But Superman's LSMs have been uncovered and I saw Sue Carpenter and others walking behind the barriers at Superman and Lex's entrances. So testing of both will probably start in the near future.

^GL didn't begin testing until a few days before opening. So we have plenty of time for testing.

^Nope. It's just sitting there. Nothing special.. Also, operations were god-awful on most rides... Tatsu was 5 minute dispatches because they had a trainee checking the seats. Riddlers was running 1 train empty, Batman was stacking every time for a long time. Almost everything was really slow! At Lex, both of the cars, including the catch cars, were completely covered up. They were also pouring the concrete for the queue between the indoor section and the ride itself. It was just a straight path.

NEVER. I REPEAT NEVER, HEAD TO GOLIATH FIRST. It is a mad rush of people pushing their way up the hill. You will get seriously injured. Not to mention, if you are in the middle of the pack, by the time your in line, you'll be waiting about 30-40 mins. And Six Flags New England doesn't have a parade. But I do agree about being there for opening. You can ride Bizarro twice, without waiting more than 20 mins for your second ride. Sounds like X2 at SFMM. But if it's the most popular ride, why not run to it?

^Nope. Still carts going up and down the tower. I saw Sue Carpenter walking behind the barriers at Lex. And up at Superman there were a few people walking around.

At Cyber Cafe. It was dead today! 15 minutes for X2! No Lex testing.. but hopefully we will see that soon. I'm about to head out, but it was a great day. The Daily Planet Gift Shop sign was up too.

Heading down to SFMM all day today. Hopefully it will be a good day and *maybe* get some pics and video of LL:DoD testing. I will post some update photos.

^that doesn't seem too bad. Busier than last week, but not as bad a what Summer will eventually get. Can't wait for June 30th!!

^^Sounds like a good day! How long did you have to wait for Green Lantern, X2, and Goliath? I'm just trying to plan for my trip on Thursday. And that's strange that it was so busy! It was one of the deadest days I have ever seen last Wednesday.

^What? You confuse me.

On SFMM's website in the description of Lex Luthor it said that the Lex Luthor cars will go up while the Superman cars are launching at the same time. And that's what they showed in the announcement video too (although that may not be as reliable).

That isn't necessarily true. On Wednesday I went up the lift completely facing downwards and we only got the one flip at the end. It's weird. I usually get 2+ flips on the more balanced rides!
