  1. Just got back from the park.. And wow was it packed! And for some reason Superman p didn't open til 2:30 and when it did open, it was just one side. Goliath's line was to the entrance, as was just about everything else. They were parking people in the overflow dirt this afternoon. Busiest I've seen on a weekday this summer, by far. Strange.
  2. Why is everyone thinking this? For some reason I have a feeling that it will be Intamin. The park has used Intamin for the last 3 major projects, so why wouldn't they use them again?
  3. I really don't mind. None of the GP will know, and it does the exact same thing as the permanent one, doesn't it!?
  4. I just used the system and you skip both the line for the tube and the slide itself (not including Tornado). The thing that sucks though is that Hurricane Harbor doesn't have enough slides for the Flash Pass system to work well. Because of the low price of the pass itself and the low amount of slides, the reservation times ended up being around 2 hours on a busy day. Don't waste your money on the Regular Pass, just get the Platinum Pass. It's well worth it. Well I'm thinking about using it tomorrow. How do you get a tube if you skip the line for the tube? And it's $10 for Regular and $15 for Gold, right?
  5. I have a question about the Flash Pass at SFHH. When you have the Flash Pass, on the intertube rides, do you get to skip the line to get a tube and the line to get into the tower itself or do you just skip the line to get on the tower?
  6. I know that SFMM is open weekdays during the last week of March, but even Sundays during that time are ok.
  7. I like the idea! Since the park is spending less on this attraction, then they will probably have more to spend on the 2013 coaster!
  8. Ok, well i do have limited time so the trip can't be any more than 14 days. It looks like I will be flying into Cincinnati and heading over to Kings Island, then up to CP, over to Hershey and SFGAdv, then down to Kings Dominion and Dollywood before returning to Cincinnati for the flight home. I know I will be spending 2 days at CP, but are there any other parks where I should do in 2 days? Also, would you recommend any other parks along this route that I should visit in addition to/instead of the parks I am planning to visit? Thanks!
  9. It actually works quite well! It took me a couple minutes to figure out where I was supposed to press and where to find my music, but after I figured that out, it was a good app! Thanks for letting me try it out! Everything worked as it was supposed to.
  10. I would like a copy. Thanks!
  11. Has X2 had the same kind of downtime that X did? I thought that was the primary reason for the overhaul was to curb the downtime. On a related note, does anyone know if Eejanaika has had the same reliability issues? (Or Dinoconda, but it's too new to tell) My personal opinion is you can never have too many 4th dimension coasters, reliability be damned X2 never has extended downtime and is actually quite reliable now. The ride is usually kept up and running quite well!
  12. The guy's name is Gregory and he says that to me every single time I go. He told me that last November. He collects evasions for the surveys, so I wouldn't be surprised if a survey shows up in your email in the next few days.
  13. Scream and Viper are a different type of rough. Scream is more of a rattling an shaking rough while Viper is more of a jerking your head in every which way rough. I like Viper's rough more than Scream's rough. And in my opinion, Colossus is smoother than Apocalypse now. Oh and Scream's horn has been broken for a few weeks and the stickers on the drop of Doom harnesses are long gone. Also, Superman needs to run both sides on the weekdays! It's getting annoying. I waited an hour for it today with jus the right side open. It only takes 2 more ride ops, and it's just unacceptable. I understand why they don't run both sides on Tatsu, but the line was out the door throughout the entire day today.
  14. Just rode Viper 30 minutes ago and didn't bump my head once! It was awesome!!
  15. ^ Weird. It hasn't bothered me for the last year or so. I find it better if you are 5'7 or taller. And don't look around while you ride (learned that one the hard way!). Heading down to the park this afternoon.
  16. Viper is awesome!!!!! Doesn't hurt a bit and it hasn't hurt a bit since last year. I usually ride it in the afternoon so I can just stay on. My record is 4 times in a row without getting off. It's good enough that if there isn't a line, I will stay on. I can't say that about Scream. Riddler's Revenge is another one that seems to have frequent head bumping lately, especially in the back.
  17. There are no slow days at HH. I went on an overcast Sunday in the beginning of June and the place was packed. That's why I always try to visit SFMM on very hot days, as more people are at HH. There is a noticeable difference. But that flash passover actually be worth it. I think you still have to wait for a tube though. But you get to skip the line to get on the tower. Not sure how it works exactly...
  18. And don't worry about Bamboo racers. Way too overrated and very boring. If you really want to get on everything, get a Flash Pass for $20 per person. And isn't the free friend ticket only valid for weekdays in June and August?
  19. ^The are the old ones with just a new layer of the orange stuff on them. They look nice now, but not for long.
  20. Wow. And they were actually supposed to close at 9PM yesterday. Wow. Now I know why I go to the park on weekdays only during the Summer. After going on only weekdays this summer, I actually thought that this summer was much lighter in terms of crowds than last Summer. For example, I haven't had to wait more than 15 minutes for Goliath this summer, or more than 40 for X2.
  21. ^Guve us the scoop. How long we're all the lines? More than a normal Saturday in summer?
  22. I usually leave by 2 or 3, so it is usually more worth it to me to start at X2 and wait until it opens. But since you are spending the whole day there, I would play it by ear, and if X2 opens on time, ride it, but if it doesn't, go to Tatsu.
  23. That's insane!!! I can't imagine the lines! But I wonder why a free ticket day would drive in so many people.. They don't usually. Mothers and Fathers Day usually aren't too bad. Hmm... Well I hope they have all the rides open and running at full capacity..
  24. ^But he also wants to do HH. No matter what day I go, I can be done with all major coasters by 2:30 PM. If you go as fast as you can in this order: X2 Tatsu Superman Apocalypse Riddler's Revevnge Green Lamtern Batman Lex Luthor Colossus Scream Goliath
  25. ^ Well, I don't know if you should do Lex first, because on Tuesday it opened an hour late and more people still go to X2. In my opinion, you should run to X2 as fast as you can and try to be one of the first people on. Then head up to Tatsu, keeping a quick pace and get a short line. After Tatsu, head to Superman and get on that. Then head down to Lex Luthor. Yesterday it had a 25-30 minute wait all day, which isn't a big deal (X2 was almost an hour all day). Then head over to Goliath. It should be about 1:30 or a little earlier then. Head over to Hurricane Harbor. I don't go to HH often so ask someone else about the best slides. Whenever you finish at HH, head back and hit up X2 again. After that, go in any order you like to ride anything else. That is how I usually go through the park.
