I was there too! I must've seen you! When I heard the Batman question, I was thinking "they aren't going to get that right!" and then I was surprised when you did. And it seems SEFK is only going to run 1 side on weekdays now. Yesterday they were just running the right side and the line was to the entrance by 11:45.

Apocalypse usually has a 30-40 minute line between noon and 4PM, but any time other than that it can be a walk on. Also, why didn't you go on X2? I also went on Tuesday and I had a little bit better luck with lines than you did. First, went to Lex and waited an hour for it to open and then got on at 11:30. Then went to Green Lantern and got on in 15 minutes. 10 for Batman. Then had lunch at Teen Titans Pizza. Went to Goliath and waited 15 minutes from the bottom of the steps. Used Lex Luthor's single rider line and got on in 5 minutes. Went to Scream and walked on. Then wanted to ride Colossus, but it was broken. Used Riddler single rider line, got on in 5 min. Then went up to Superman and waited about 40 minutes from right at the entrance around 2. Headed to get Dole Whips and got another single rider ride on Lex in about 10 minutes. Waited 10 minutes for Colossus. Headed up to X2 around 4:20 and waited 40 minutes (the park survey people are telling people to go to X2 around 4PM, spoiling our secret.). Went to Tatsu and waited 35 minutes. The line was moving really fast! Then went to Apocalypse and walked on at 6:30. Oh yeah, and a refurbed Red Colossus train has shown up on the storage track at Colossus! It looks really nice! Maybe they are switching tracks soon.

^7/10 Interesting letter choices, but not too original. -
We don't know yet, but since SFMM has worked with Intamin for the last 3 projects, they would probably work with Intamin on the fourth project. When I visit the park on Tuesday, I will check and see if there is anything new on site. I believe these could definitely be for Full Throttle. I think it would be interesting to see a colorful ride in the LJ area. This is just making me more and more excited for what's in store.

I'll be honest in saying this... While you may not like the way the current SFMM manager is running the park, don't you think a nickname like that is only going to make her like enthusiasts less? Since a lot of parks do browse TPR, I wouldn't want to be a manager and find out that I had a nickname alluding to the fact that I may not interact with the guests as much as the former manager did. You wonder why she may not interact with guests as much? Everyone has a different way of running a park, and you really don't have the right to judge this manager based on one small aspect.. Maybe social interaction isn't her strongest suit? Maybe she's spending more time focusing on attraction development? I don't know, but I honestly think you're crossing a line with a nickname like that. I hope you understand my reasoning here. You can state your opinion without having to be rude and mocking. Jay Thomas left Magic Mountain to focus on another area of the company that needed work, corporate. Can you honestly tell me you think the park has significantly gone downhill with her at the helm? Superman's redo, Green Lantern/Rennovation of Gotham into DC, Roadrunner Express (while Jay may have had a hand in these, they still debuted during her time) as well as Lex Luthor, the removal of the eyesore defunct Sky Sling with a possible replacement Starflyer and a new launched coaster on the horizon? Sure, Log Jammer and Deja-Vu got the boot, but these were rides that probably gave the maintanence staff headaches on a daily basis, and didn't have any lasting effect on crowds. I really don't think you're looking at this properly. Yes, after this is posted I may have comments firing back purporting that I'm a "stupid kid and I apparently am too young to understand what it takes to run these parks etc.", but I know that to a manage a business of this kind, it takes a heck of a lot more time than your average 9-5, five days a week job. Don't take this a personal attack, but just sort of as a general statement to everyone trashing the parks at this point. Some criticism is good for the parks, but when every move they make gets bashed by enthusiasts, it gets ridiculous. Hope my opinion on this is understandable. EDIT: Please, please, please don't turn this into a giant argument. I would appreciate it if responses were civil. I wasn't trying to bash Bonnie Rabjohn or the park by using the term "Ice Queen". Even in that sentence I was trying to give her credit. She was outside talking to people on Lex Luthor's opening day. I was simply using that term to replace the name. It doesn't mean anything. She truly does deserve more credit than what she gets. She may not interact with the park visitors as much as the previous president did, but we shouldn't compare different presidents. Every person is different and every Park President has a different vision for the park. That's just how life works! The park is still open, isn't it? I totally understand what you are saying and this term is simply being used as a replacement for the name. It doesn't mean anything. At least not to me.

Mo' Single Lines

LL: DoD is a perfect example. Where the ride attendant splits the people in the 2 lines if the group doesn't add up to 8, then single riders are used to fill in the empty places. Not when the ride is loading, but when the groups are made. This made the process really fast. -

Well, it would still probably make the line shorter. They need either a single rider line or assigned seating. -

X2 and Tatsu at SFMM. So many empty seats the could be filled. Operations on Tatsu are already bad enough and they don't need to be sending out half empty trains. -
Left side has been used since January. And yes! I always ride in the back now and that first drop always scares the crap out of me now! That is an amazing pop of airtime! I am liking Colossus more and more ever since the beginning of this year! Haven't been down to the park due to a vacation. Probably heading down next Tuesday.

At the park, X2 is still my favorite, then Goliath, the Tatsu, then Lex, then Superman. So #4 at the park. Haha. I didn't think it was worth the nearly two hours I waited for it one time, but it would easily be worth 45 minutes to an hour (which is what the wait was like today I'm hearing). It's a really fun ride and worth checking out. And you MUST ride in an outside seat at least once!
