I guess it depends on the person. . it really struck a nerve with certain communities (in particular the LGBT community) as those characters are front and center, and they are dealing with a disease that was still absolutely devastating the artists/creators/shining lights in those communities, with little regards from anyone who was not *part* of those communities. viewed thru that prism?. . . yeah, i TOTALLY get why it's such a loved show (and why I love it so much). it speaks to me, and I KNOW/KNEW many of the characters. . . (does that help any?).

Not on Kumba, back row far side or GTFO. Same seat as Nitro's hot seat for me as well. This is good to know. I heard BGT is basically like Dorney with no lines, so I'm definitely going to try and do a front/back ride on at LEAST Kumba, Montu, Sheikra and Cheetah Hunt. Sheikra is going to break my Dive machine virginity and I'm excited Cheetah Hunt has lines. . . even if not busy, expect to wait at least 20 minutes. and if Cobra's Curse goes down?. . Montu (right next door to it) gets SLAMMED. . but it was walk on when Cobra's Curse was running. Sheikra & Kumba were walk ons on busy days when we were there.

sounds like they've really toned down the "moaning" sound the cars used to make on the track. . . shame, it was spooky for Halloween. . . still a great ride tho. need to get back to Fiesta. . been way too many years since we've been (and they are running specials for 2017 passes in Austin for Fright Fest) -
welcome to this area of the TPR forums. . LOL (and to the thread)

No. From that image of the top of Giant, the Batman Stunt Show theater was located off the image to the right of the Oil Derrick. isn't to the right where Superman Tower is? (and before converting to Superman, was Air Race). I don't recall there being a stadium there.. . but I'm getting old, so who knows if my memory is going

that's a shame. . this type of ride seems to be a perfect fit for them! -
it's home to the Texas Rangers baseball team, and the Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globe_Life_Park_in_Arlington Not that stadium. This one. That's the concert area in the park. They still have a few concerts a year there I believe. ah. . yeah. used to also house the Batman stunt show too (many years ago), if I'm not mistaken.

Hershey has some great magnets too. we have the Ferris Wheel (that spins, and then the individual cars spin!): and the "wood sign style" one on the fridge. -

Dorney had some amazing magnets. . LOL. . we ended up w/ 3 of them, from our least favorite park on our Pennsylvania trip a couple of years back! -

the options when we were there were terrible. For magnets and shirts (I really wanted a singing mushroom shirt, and despite being the beginning of summer (June) nothing decent avail). we ended up with these. . which were by far the "best" offered, found at the two stores near the front gate after checking several gift shops: -
^^ I'll pass along your comment, when I see her at the end of Oct (Hyperion is flying her in for some young adult bookfest thing in town). She loves when fans enjoy her (and Larry's) work. Of course, I've never read her books.. LOL..it's why we can be friends and hang out, since I don't ask questions about the stories (here we are from a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta)

I don't use it at all, because I'm old and set in my ways, and my phone is for making calls (and the occasional pic). heck, I didn't even get an iPhone until earlier this year, and it's a hand me down iPhone 4. I know, I know. . but I don't even web surf, Facebook, or play games (nevermind Pokemon, I don't even angry pigs, or candy crunch) on my phone. -

While I can't out "Flashback Is-this-too-gay" Bill, he's inspired me to share. I've always loved this pic: My friend, artist, Larry Dixon and I wearing hats that his wife (Mercedes Lackey) made for us: The Pirate and the Princess (2004?)
