does this mean you think it is missing "the opening act" ? I actually think the "antisepticness" of it (to use that term incorrectly). . .adds to the charm. I like that it's SO different than what you'd see in the States. . .I'd just imagine more "bustle" around a lobby in the USA.

more beautiful pics, and wow, that food looks amazing (I vote poop on the "tea" pic, by the way). surprised not to hear any recognizable Disney music in the background of the video in the Disney Store. do they just not blast the music as obnoxiously loud as the stores here in the States do?

oh. . disagree completely. at BGT, the Gorilla/Chimp Path, the Lions/Tiger Path, the Kangaroos/Wallabees, the bird sanctuary, the Crocodiles, and the "hidden path" that features the hyenas & the Hippos you mentioned. and the biggie.. feeding the giraffes by hand on the safari (upcharge but worth it), and the Serengeti plain that's veritable from train and from the restaurant? we LOVED BGT. we also loved BGW.. it's just going to depend on what you prefer, the animals, or the overall feel of the park & Rides. tho BGW has better rides (in my opinion) and is an absolutely stunningly gorgeous park, we liked BGT just as much, only for different reasons. . the animals.

they really DID seem to piss off a lot of fans with that finale last season. Ratings may or may not have taken a hit (depending on which source you look at). . but NO ONE seems to be talking about the show. we watched the mid-season finale yesterday (one of the best episodes of this season thus far)..and yet, I was completely unspoiled from Facebook, or Entertainment weekly -- despite watching it 3 days after it aired.

a couple of bucket list things: Cedar Point (for sure) (with Nrthwnd. . yay! I get to meet and spend a week hanging out with Bill) Possibly another park on this trip too. . . we'll have a car, so who knows? and then in July/Sept, Niagara Falls w/ my hubby. (so we'll have to find a theme park to hit while going from there to a weekend in Toronto). that's all planned thus far. . but these are biggies for me.

I actually knew FIVE songs.. out of a 2 hour + set. but we had *great* seats:

headed out tonight to see Alan Parson's Project Live. I only know 4 songs.. gonna be a looooooong night (but it's one of Hubby's bucket list bands, and he got the tix back in Feb). oy.

one has to drink sake with sushi (and trying to lighten his stress level a bit!).
