  1. Haven't been to either one. But, I'll say Disney Paris. Kumba or Dragon Khan?
  2. Not sure if this counts but I'll say it anyway. I sat outside A&E Stage in Pittsburgh listening to Modest Mouse after the Pirates game a couple of weeks ago. EDIT - My 100th Post!
  3. While I was at BGW back in April. A black girl (not being racist) was passing everyone on line for Alpengeist. I purposly blocked her from passing me. Then she pulled the "Excuse me" trick. I didn't buy it so I asked, "Where are you going?". She also pulled the old "I have to get to my family" trick. I still wasn't buying it. So I asked "Why didn't you come into line with them?" She said, "I had to use the bathroom". I was done arguing so I just let her go. A few minutes later, I was watching a train come into the brake run, like I always do. An all white front row came and I didn't see the girl. The next train comes and there were 3 white people and the girl! So I watch the next train and still all white people. So I was mad at myself for not making her wait behind me.
  4. Thanks for the comments and advice! April 10, 1974 I revisited the park today. It is still popular. People are really excited to finally have an amusement park near their homes. Shot0422.bmp Fender Benders are doing well. Shot0425.bmp These new restrooms have been added in front of the lake. Shot0426.bmp Lots of kids were on the Tea Cups today. Shot0427.bmp Flying Swings had long lines all day. Shot0429.bmp I'll leave you today with a picture of The Dragon. Have a great day!
  5. I really like Stealth. Very unique. But, I don't like the indoor boomerang. The outside looks wierd to me.
  6. Looks good. I really like your woodie.
  7. Haven't ridden either one but I'll go with Prowler. Talon or Great Bear?
  8. You never told us the name of your woodie. What is the name of the coaster?
  9. Loch Ness Monster back in April. But that's all going to change when I go to Hershey for a 2nd time this year and ride Skyrush! Then SFGAd on the 12th.
  10. ^ Thanks! I never thought of that.
  11. The reason I wasn't using the David Walsh cheat was because I had no peeps in the park. So I couldn't name anyone David Walsh. But, I did use the cheat for this update and I will for all the rest. April 4th, 1974 Opening Day Well, today was finally the day. The day Rivertown Amusement Park opens to the public. I feel like everything we have done has payed off. We've worked our tails off on this park and it will be a success for many years to come. We recieved excelent feedback from our guests. The park was PACKED. We were prepared. The Dragon was a fan favorite. I'll get to the pictures. Shot0413.bmp This is what the midway looked like less than 2 minutes after opening! Shot0414.bmp The first riders on The Dragon Shot0415.bmp Those are two happy riders! Shot0417.bmp Being a cooler day, not many guests rode Sawmill Plunge. But, those who did, loved it! Shot0418.bmp Any second guesses? Shot0419.bmp I will leave you with this shot of Parachuter's Peak. Have a great day!
  12. I saw Marilyn Manson at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ. I'm pretty sure it was May 2nd. I know for a fact that I missed Game 3 of the NYR vs Caps series because of the concert.
  13. I'm Back! April 2nd, 1974 Sorry for the lack of updates. Lots of work has come up. But, I was able to visit the park today and I was approched by one of our head mechanics. He said that the state government came to the park and said that the park was ready to open. He also said that The Dragon and Sawmill Log Flume were safe to ride. And I got on BOTH! I must say, The Dragon is a ture masterpeice and will challange the most daring thrillseekers. I was allowed to bring my camera on the rides. But, please don't do this without permission from a park worker. Shot0396.bmp The insane drop on The Dragon. Shot0398.bmp There is crazy airtime on the hills. Shot0400.bmp Take a deep breath, and don't pinch yourself. It's real! Shot0401.bmp Sawmill really soaks you. Shot0402.bmp I wasn't lying. Shot0405.bmp Don't forget about Parachuter's Peak. It's still the tallest. Shot0408.bmp See you in two days for the park's grand opening!
  14. ^^ Operations are good or bad. It depends on the operator. One time, we waited 15 minutes for Apollo's Chariot, then the next day, the line started at the same spot, and we waited 45 minutes. It has happened to me alot. But the most efficiently operated coaster is Intimidator 305. Which has a fantastic station design, unlike Skyrush.
  15. We weren't able to ride Comet or SooperDooperLooper. Looper was still being refurbished, and Comet's line was insane. Thanks!
  16. I always found the pad to the Enterprise at Great Adventure relaxing. I was in the operator's booth for a while. Also, the area to the left of The Dark Knight at Great Adventure quiet. I walked over there once and all that was around me was trash cans, which reminded me of Cedar Fair parks, Batman Stunt Arena, and the Picnic Grove. I'm pretty sure Freefall was once over there. Can someone confirm this for me?
  17. Hersheypark - April 8th, 2012 I visited Hershey on Easter this year. The crowds weren't to bad. The longest we waited was about 30 minutes. We left at 4 o'clock because the Hershey Bears game started at 5 o'clock and we wanted to be early. Well, here are the pictures. Enjoy! Skyrush is truly a beauty! It wasn't fair that we couldn't ride it. Fahrenheit broke down early in the day, but reopened so we can ride it. That happened quite a bit last year. I hope it doesn't become a habit. G-FORCES!!! Great Bear was running exceptional that day! The forces were fantastic! I even got a small pop of airtime. Who doesn't love zero-g rolls? Storm Runner felt really fast. Even though some redneck said they toned it down. Into the unknown. Pure Awesomeness! Sidewinder.....eh. Wildcat = roughness The GC after a 1 - 0 loss to the Whale. I was a mad person. Outside the GC after the game. That's all I have for this TR.
  18. BDash. Being surrounded by trees is awesome!
  19. Lightning Racer at Hersheypark. You have one of your best coasters in the back of the park, where not many people go.
  20. No. Have you ever embarrassed yourself in front of your friends by running from ride to ride?
  21. I have a feeling that this will change when i ride Skyrush but, this is my Top 5. (I took these pictures from RCDB. They are NOT mine.) 5. Millennium Force 4. El Toro 3. Boulder Dash 2. Bizarro 1. Intimidator 305
  22. No. Have you left your flip-flops on while riding an inverted coaster?
