What's their name? I didn't know you guys had a Floyd tribute up there We have Which One's Pink? down here in L.A. and it would rock if they played Dogs of War... I've been bugging them to play Learning to Fly forever and they did it at a show when I wasn't there. ROFL. Anyways, cool that you had a good time and the band sounded good.

Awww. I know how you feel; we lost our 8 week old puppy a year ago when someone stepped on him in a park by accident. I still miss him. I hope your puppy gets better -
Roger Waters at the Hollywood Bowl, Thursday night (Oct. 6th) and last night. There are not words to describe how awesome this show was... and I've still got one more show to go tomorrow night.

7 more days until Roger Waters!!!!!!!!!!!! yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! -
I was just going to say that. TO had an injury a few days ago, and the media didn't pay enough attention to it as he thought they should, so.... pill time. What a joke.

All I can say is, good luck! Watch around you and stuff. Just remember what your driving teacher said and what you did in practice and you'll be fine. -Amanda "I still need to learn to drive, and I'm 23.. insert pathetic jokes here" V. -
I really hate the DirectTV commercials with Peyton Manning. God, I'm sick of seeing that guy. Also, those Visa ads from a while back with the New England Patriots. Ugh!

Hey, can you scan the MGM one too when you get your scanner working? I always wondered what that place was like. Thanks! -amanda -
I mostly play guitar (7 years and counting). I used to play violin in middle school/high school (I still have it but don't really play it) I've been trying to learn clarinet, keyboards, and bass. -Amanda "Too many instruments, so little time" V.

So I was watching football today and a commercial came on for the TV show "Justice", which I think is on Fox on Wednesday night. Anyways, this week's show features, from what I could gather, a woman that dies on a coaster and her daughter having something to do with the case. (Sorry, I was in a sports bar and there was no sound). Anyone know what coaster this is? It looked like a portable steel, sort of like a Zyklon from back in the day. It had white supports and blue track, with yellow trains. (It's hard to pick out details from 2 seconds of footage!) I know you guys like to play "Name that Coaster" so I thought this might be of some interest. Hopefully someone else besides me has seen the commercial -Amanda "Crap, this thread could be totally pointless" V.

Top 10 Video Games of All Time
lapseofreason replied to Coasters 4 ever's topic in Random, Random, Random
In no particular order: 1. Super Mario Bros. 3 2. Super Mario World for SNES (3 words: DONUT GHOST HOUSE) 3. Tetris 2 for SNES.. the "puzzle" levels were VERY frustrating! 4. Zelda: Ocarina of Time (if I had an N64, i would be playing that all day) 5. Kirby: Great Cave Offensive (I think this was on "Kirby All Stars" for SNES... I don't know why, I LOVED this game) 6. Final Fantasy 7,9,10, and 11 (those are the only ones I've played so it's a tie... besides I can't decide) 7. Ms. Pac Man/Pac Man 8. Original Arcade Mario Bros. 9. Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins 10. Um... Madden 2003 because it has a St. Louis Ram player (Marshall Faulk) on the cover ... I think that's it. -amanda -
^Yeah, but at least Goliath and X are still fairly their original colors (especially X; I mean, it's only 3 years old). Ninja is freaking PINK (originally red). It seriously needs paint. I don't really see that Gold Rusher needs it; possibly. I haven't really paid attention to that one. Scream is starting to fade a little... and all the buildings in the park that haven't been redone could use an upgrade like those in Rapids Camp Crossing. -Amanda "On second thought, just repaint everything, it needs it" V.

It's a day late, but happy birthday anyways

Cool! I've seen the setlist from other shows, and the only things I have beef with is a) he should have thrown in more solo stuff, and b)WTF is with Vera/Bring the Boys Back Home as an encore? I mean, he could have killed those two songs, dumped Wish You Were Here down there and in WYWH's place played... I dunno, Welcome to the Machine or something! Anyways, good to see you had a great time. -Amanda "18 more days" V.
