  1. When someone mentioned something about future roller coasters, he replied "down the road." Hopefully that means 2014-2015!
  2. An person who doesn't stop passing gas the whole plane ride. What's worse than school cafeteria food?
  3. 9/10 Love that game!
  4. Yes Would you hate being stuck on the top of Top Thrill Dragster for a while?
  5. Six Flags Magic Mountain building a new area themed solely on parking lots. What's worse than getting your wisdom teeth pulled?
  6. ^ I have to agree with you on Manta. If people consider this a family coaster, it's one of the best in the world!
  7. Yes! Have you ever tried fried Oreos?
  8. Yes (especially Nesquik) Ever rode the World's Longest Water Coaster?
  9. ^ This is exactly what the park needs. The SOB area would be a good fit, or maybe in the X-Sector (or what ever its called). My only complaint is that this better be longer than Leviathan!
  10. Every time I watch that video, I wonder what MM thinks of what the definition of a "top hat" is!
  11. Free Plain White T's concert in 2011. Best concert I went to however was a combined acts concert and I went backstage to meet the whole bands of Switchfoot and Relient K
  12. Yes (Haven't ridden it, just going by looks). Have you ever won anything in the lottery?
  13. Holiday World building a new area themed to Valentines Day and calling the new steel roller coaster "Heartbreaker."
  14. Yes Is Top Thrill Dragster better than Kingda Ka?
  15. A steel one What's worse than a stormy day at Cedar Point?
  16. Here are mine: Pleasant Mean Streak: This ride is, by far, Cedar Point's most hated roller coaster. Every one bashed this ride and I held the same opinion for a while. 2006 was the first time I ever rode the ride. I have been to Cedar Point every year since. I have ridden Mean Streak once every year, thinking that the ride will be different each year. Then in 2012, Cedar Point finally re-tracked the ride. Best decision the park has ever made for this ride. There is a HUGE difference between 2011 Mean Streak and 2012 Mean Streak. Now instead of being a 2/10, I'd say it's now 6.5/10. Expedition Everest: I've read some bad things about this ride. They are complaining how little airtime the ride has and it is very disorienting. The whole point of the ride (and most Disney coasters in general) is to tell a story and to feel like you are racing through the Himalayas, not popping out of your seat on an airtime hill. My personal experience was excellent and I can easily say it is the best roller coaster at Disney and one of the best attractions out of all four parks. Gemini: By far the biggest surprise of my first CP trip. And to think, I almost never rode it! I had to chose between taking a second spin on Magnum, or ride this wooden supported Arrow contraption in 2006. I decided it looked decently fun, so why not? Turns out it was a very smooth and entertaining ride. Definitely did not disappoint! I am, however, a bit upset over how little this ride's line is because it's so much fun! Unpleasant Mantis: Standups are by far my least favorite of B&M's designs (yet they're leagues ahead of other manufacturers!). I expected Mantis to be smooth and harmless. I was wrong and found my legs begging for mercy by the end of the ride. I don't know if it's because I'm a little taller than average (6' 4''), but it's the worst B&M I've ever rode. Big Thunder Mountain: I was so mad about how uncomfortable this ride was. Most mine trains are smooth sailing, but this ride was very rough. The refurbishment didn't do much for me, though the effects were nice to see in working order. Hopefully when I visit MK again, it will be more enjoyable.
  17. Gemini is definitely a wonderful coaster. It is very underrated. I really love the shot of Maverick in black and white. Put a watermark on it and you've got yourself a great phone wallpaper!
  18. Nice TR! It disappoints me too that you never got on Blue Streak either. however you aren't missing much with Corkscrew.
  19. Woah, did not expect that huge addition! Really looking great so far!
  20. Being too lazy to paint over the parking lot lines. What's worse then the theming on Disaster Transport?
  21. Yes (I hope!) Is Six Flags Busch Gardens a terrible idea?
  22. Not sure how much longer this attraction will last. The viewer count has been dropping the past few years and I wouldn't be surprised if Disney has to renovate it into another show.
  23. I like the name! While many of today's coasters want you to feel intimidated by their names, The Smiler gives off an odd feeling to it. It is a creey, somewhat mysterious name that makes people wonder why it's called that. Something tells me an indoor queue would summarize the entire backstory, or even add more details to it!
  24. Friday June 7th. Thanks for the info! I really hope the park opens this thing May 11. They haven't opened a new major ride on schedule since Skyhawk in 2006! So far from what I've been seeing, the weather has been cooperative.
  25. Does anyone have any idea what date Coastermania will be? Will they keep the new July timeframe or head back to early June again?
