^ Haha! Looks like my "dumb" speculation may turn out to be not so dumb after all! -

If Raven Maven (or someone who actually honestly knows) would like to tell us what time the info goes live, that would be great. I'm avoiding detailed speculation. I honestly couldn't care less about whether it is wood or steel. I'm just freakin glad we are getting a coaster, hypothetically -

Ugh, you have to go this day? Pretty heavy crowds. Regional schools are getting out for the summer this upcoming week. The two longest lines out of both parks, Wildebeest and Mammoth, will vary in length depending on how warm the weather is. If it's 60 degrees, those lines will be very short. However, 80 or warmer means lines can reach approximately 60-90 minutes, possibly 120. Visit Voyage as soon as you get to the park and hit up Mayflower and Gobbler Getaway while you're there. Then head to the water park as soon as it is about to open and WALK in a brisk manner (dumb teenagers will run there and may avoid being yelled at for doing so) to Mammoth then Wildebeest. Then it is up to you what slides you want to hit up. Most of the water slides at Splashin Safari are found in other water parks, so it just depends on what you do or don't like. Zinga, Watubee, Bakuli, and the half-pipe of Hyena Falls tend to gather the long lines as well. After you finish up at the water park, hopefully it is 3-4 pm and you can head to the Raven and Legend now. Like the water park, the flats here are fairly standard and nothing out of the ordinary, so it depends on what you prefer to ride. Fried Oreos, yum. I also like some of the fudge from Mrs Claus's Kitchen. Plymouth Rock Cafe has some home style food you may like. All of the prices are very reasonable compared to a standard Six Flags or Cedar Fair park. Mammoth, Wildebeest, and Liberty Launch have one. You're welcome. -

I have also ridden Maverick and Millennium in fairly steady rain. Yet, I have also been to the park on another day when Force (and probably Maverick too) was closed in a drizzle. The policy enforcement seems very inconsistent indeed. -

Someone a while back on this forum mentioned that they heard a June reopening is likely. When in June and how credible this info is, is still up in the air. -

*COUGH* It was added to the water park because of the Hyena Falls expansion *COUGH* Man allergies are bad down here... -
If you have not actually visited the park you are reviewing, your opinion is automatically invalid to me. Sorry not sorry

If you visit when the water park is open, (compared to a CF or SF ticket) your ticket includes: Water Park Admission (separate admission at several parks) Free Parking (10-25 dollars elsewhere) Free Unlimited Soda (3-4 dollars elsewhere) Free sunscreen (not provided at many parks) And as he ^ stated above, it's just 32 freakin bucks being an card-carrying enthusiast, plus local Pepsi cans can shave off another 4-7 bucks!! Happy Halloween Weekends sells $30 tickets in the fall. Sure, they don't have major thrill rides like CP and KI. It's a family park for a reason... -

Someone who visited the park last weekend said that it is a small clearing of trees by the Voyage's hill. Until the Voyage walk back, getting a clear picture of the land clearing is nearly impossible right now. -

I almost always purchase my tickets at Kroger. I can't remember exactly how much the discount is at Kroger, but it's pretty good from what I recall. -

Time To Visit: Anytime in June is fine. The earlier, the better and avoid Saturdays Places to Stay: This varies depending on your budget. Breakers is literally walking distance to the park, but it's fairly expensive and the rooms aren't being renovated till next off-season. I did enjoy my stay at Breakers despite the outdated rooms (which you shouldn't be spending a lot of time in anyway). Haven't ever stayed at Sandcastle, but I heard it's not that great. I usually stay at an off-site hotel like Holiday Inn, Motel 6, etc. Game Plan: Once again, this variable completely depends upon your budget as well long you are staying. It is very easy to accomplish everything major in two days at Cedar Point WITHOUT Fast Lane. However, if you are going only one day, Fast Lane Plus is your friend to do anything and everything. If you can't afford Fast Lane basic or plus, you can still hit a lot of the coasters, maybe just not all of them. Here is a basic plan if you are staying only one WEEKDAY: hit Maverick first thing in the morning, followed by Millennium, and maybe TTD depending on the line, then check on Magnum and Gemini and try to ride those two. Now advance your way to the front of the park and by mid-afternoon, hit Gatekeeper and Raptor. You can also do maXair and Wicked Twister while you're over here. I left out Mantis mainly because I really do not enjoy it, but you may if you like Standups. So in summary, your don't misses are: TTD, Maverick, Millennium, Raptor, Gatekeeper, Magnum, Gemini, Wicked Twister, maXair, Cedar Downs (awesome carousel, trust me), Blue Streak If anyone else has anything to add to this, please feel free to chime in and correct me -

^^ Like I said earlier, The Voyage was designed with not only a record breaking mentality, but it also was designed to cater to enthusiasts as well with the amount of airtime and lats the ride has. I think Will used enthusiast input throughout the design process. Hopefully, that's the case for the next coaster here. -

I'm not one who likes to speculate, but I really am hoping next year will be the year for a steel coaster. Knowing Holiday World, it will cater to the enthusiasts in some shape or form -
^^ When they brought it back after 13 years in 2005, attendance was not as high as it was back in the 80's. I assume Cedar Fair cut their losses and discontinued it after the Paramount buyout for a good reason. Dick may or may have not been involved with the cancellation of it. Anyways, SFOG seems to have mild enough winters (with the exception of this year) to where this event is great for the park.
