  1. ^^ If Godzilla will stomp straight down on the Spaghetti bowl section of the ride during the movie, I'm going to see it for sure. I also love the fact that Godzilla destroyed the smaller Statue of Liberty in Vegas!
  2. What are you talking about? Do you mean renovating it like NTAG or iRat? And to answer your question, it would be very doubtful for an RMC makeover as Kentucky Kingdom was never really at the top of Six Flags' priorities and the ride was not really declining in quality nearly as much as Texas Giant or Rattler.
  3. Damn, a new name is certainly needed to get ride of the cursed, horrid name that I will not speak of I would have settled for the ride being called "Afterburner."
  4. ^^ and ^^^. I agree and always opt for the multiday ticket. It would be much different if it were SeaWorld, or even Universal honestly, that would be doing this. While phasing out a single day ticket may not be a good idea due to public outcry and potential losses in profit, it does make you thinj that they are really pushing multiday tickets and shoving one day tickets out of the spotlight.
  5. Tickets are now going to be $99 to get in. I am now wondering when the raising prices will ever stop. I mean, 10 years ago, the price was roughly 50-52 bucks. But, ever since the economy went south, inflation occurred and it just plain sucks. When will people get to the point when they say it is too much?
  6. But really, the thread is full of the park's fanboys blabbering on about a new coaster, and then other people walk in, rudely yelling how the thread needs to die and people need to stop posting. Which is hilarious considering they are being hypocrites themselves. I hope one day, the thread will return to normal. Sorry for getting off topic. I just had to put this out there. And to the member who recently posted on this forum, I saw your post in the Darien Lake thread that was telling a new member how dumb he was (implied by the facepalm you put) for posting something that it was in his opinion. And you also told another member to shut up. Please don't be rude to them as it makes this website not fun (as it should be because we are all enthusiasts here) and it painfully ironic how you are fitting the description of your location on your profile. Also, to the mods, I understand that this is probably back-seat moderating, but I wanted to speak out about this.
  7. ^ It's not that it would be of inconvenience as it just looks lazy and/or unprofessional. You make a good point about having backwards batman and the kiddie coaster not there. Maybe it's just because I'm used to year-round parks like Universal and Disney putting out new maps every other month.
  8. Pretty much anything posted by the same 4 people in the Darien Lake thread could be quoted.
  9. Wow, still out with the 2013 maps? I know this is SFMM we are talking about, but c'mon, its almost March.
  10. Florida: Kumba Kentucky: Lightning Run Indiana: Voyage Ohio: Maverick California: Manta Virginia: Big Bad Wolf (it's been a looooong time since I've been to Virginia) Texas: Great White Missouri: Outlaw Run Minnesota: Rock Bottom Plunge In case anyone reads the thread back this far, I edited my choices to be up to date
  11. Out of curiosity, why is the park called Catskill's Dam if there isn't any dam to be seen? Have you not shown it yet or what?
  12. ^ I am very much the same way about construction as well. Over on the Kings Island thread, it felt like every single piece was documented when it was placed. However, an occasional update every month or so wouldn't hurt so that curious people, enthusiasts or not, have a look at what's happening. That being said, a wild mouse does not need a webcam or a daily (or even weekly) recap of construction.
  13. This is really dumb. There is no reason that a family coaster this tame should have a height requirement of 4 ft! As stated above, a much more aggressive coaster of the same type has a requirement that is 6 inches shorter than Iron Dragon. It still makes me wonder why the hell CP (or Kings Island) has the highest height restrictions on their coasters. So if John Doe was 46 inches last year, but is not quite 48 inches this year, they are going to deny the kid a ride and he will definitely feel its unfair. I understand if there was some major modifications to the train, but I'm pretty sure there isn't.
  14. Nope, I added a few more hints to help out.
  15. *COUGH* Voyage *COUGH* Ravine Flyer II *COUGH* Hades *COUGH* Man I think I'm coming down with something...
  16. ^ Yes and no. Some of the Gemini Kids rides are being "moved" to Camp Snoopy (I.e. Jr. Gemini, Frog Hopper) while the remaining attractions are being removed for Pipe Scream. Gemini's Kids area is now consolidating into the rest of Gemini Midway.
  17. Looking great! May I ask what set(s) your trees are from?
  18. This is an interesting addition to say the least. While a GCI Boulder Dash-esque was what I was hoping for, a steel multi-looper coaster in the park is certainly a great addition.
  19. ^ It's not going to affect the park very much (if at all), but it's certainly not good to see the family split up like this. It's Will's brother versus his wife. And on a side note, ever since this legal dispute began, we haven't seen much of Pat Koch anywhere. Not even in the park or in ads. I do hope she is still doing well.
  20. They'd better slap some paint on Iron Wolf's old station, because it is sure showing its age!
  21. Red indicates lift. More hints will be given if necessary. Edit: Added the direction of the lift. Edit 2: I admit this one is tricky, but someone will surely figure it out Hint 1: The coaster is wooden. Hint 2: North America Hint 3: Not a chain park
