Rollercoaster Rider

The park was not awful in the terms of coasters in the 1990s. Now, well it is. The park is just so outdated. Ed Hart main concern isn't the waterpark. Kentucky Kingdom's waterpark right now is smaller then your average waterpark btw. I don't understand why there is so much talk about how great the waterpark is when there really isn't that many attractions inside of it. Before Ed Hart left the kingdom in 1997/1998 the waterpark had a wave pool, a kids area, a treehouse water attaction, a lazy river, and one slide complex with 4 water slides. The only thing Six Flags added was a Tornado waterslide and a Deluge Water Coaster. A Waterpark expansion is needed as you can see. After this expansion, Ed Hart said that he is going to start adding in brand new rides, reopening twisted twins, and most importantly, brand NEW coasters. Six Flags also added a Bowl Slide in 2008.

I disagree, Merlin knows how to market. Six Flags knows how to advertise.

That's because they require a ton of maintenance to stay operating. Many parks/traveling shows traded theirs in for other rides. A Major malfunction at Michigan's Adventure in 2001 also could be a reason why are being removed.

Add a Wooden Coaster/ Euro Fighter and we'll call it even.

Those are not thrill rides. Those are family rides. The local news reported that Hart was going to add in two MAJOR thrill rides. Back in the 1990s, Ed Hart always went BIG, Adding attractions you couldn't find anywhere else in our area. He's also always talking about competition as we all know. Do you think he's really going to put into a public RFP everything that's going to be done when it comes to new attractions? I have an idea for an unique coaster but not sure how feasible it is or if its already been done. I think a totally underground rollercoaster would be awesome. It would take a lot of earth moving and concrete to make a hole that is 200 or 300 feet deep but that would be totally awesome. You could give it a runaway subway theme. The Sky Coaster was 180ft. I'm sure you could built a pretty tall coaster at the park. Chang was 154ft. Greased Lightning was 138ft tall.

A few things: 1. I said SeaWorld going public was a bad idea. 2. When has Six Flags ever re-themed a coaster into Superman/ Batman? Or any major coaster into another theme? 3. Do any of us really think this is really going to happen? I can see AT THE MOST Six Flags keeping 1 or 2 properties and selling off the rest. 2 Things: 1.
