I think an Intamin Aquatrax would be the best replacement for Log Jammer, seriously. I think a quality water ride should be replaced by an even higher quality water ride (even though an Aquatrax is a coaster, you get my point). The aquatrax can easily be built into the terrain and I think an Intamin Giga would look horrible in Log Jammer's location as it would look out of place.

They can always do the old-fashioned weight drop launch system.

That Wildlife Trail really will put some life into the Animal or "Land" section of Discovery Kingdom, it usually is like a ghost town there.

Vortex (CGA)

While iSpeed & Katun are dominant over this, I expect it to be a really good coaster. The second part is more like a Mack Water coaster. So, it's not going to be a top 10 in the Mitch Hawker Poll like iSpeed & Katun, though it will be a really good solid ride.

A Dive Machine would be perfect for that area. It's tall, compact, & a big draw to the GP. Plus, $15 million is a bargain for such a large ride.

Yes! I totally agree. I always get upset with Vortex because it looks like a really nice coaster, though when riding it, it's the worst coaster in Northern California. Well, the restraints on Vortex aren't the originals. They used to be the U-shaped restraints, now they're the V-shaped restraints. Also, I think Vortex would look really nice if it was a red track with grey supports, like the Vortex in Carowinds.

Not really, the Giant Dipper is REALLY painful in the wheel seats. I classify the wheel seats on the Giant Dipper giving the roughest ride on a wooden coaster in NorCal.

Well, I really never enjoyed Vortex, though I think the original location is MUCH better. I don't know about getting your last rides on Vortex, it's like getting your last rides on Manhattan Express. Not something you really want to do.

I think that if you are tall in enough to ride, you're fine. Also, 6 year-olds can understand safety better than teenagers. Also, it is the parent's decision to let the child ride, if they don't think that they should, they would not let them on. I have a 5-year old cousin who is 52" tall and I would never let him ride by himself on a ride.

I severly doubt a 300' B&M wing coaster will be built in SFOG. I personally wouldn't even see a hyper wing coaster being built anywhere, though this is clearly unrealistic.

At least there is some progress. It's weird that it seems Six Flags isn't very public with the Superman construction than the rest of the projects. It just seems they are being slow, even outside of construction. The website clearly needs to be updated by removing Pandemonium from the ride list & updating the park map.

Great photo trip reports! The storyline is pretty good especially the stereotypical German name: "Gunter". The only problem with the coaster is I wish the track was a bit lighter in color as the current gray doesn't go well with the teal supports (which I really like). Also, the dark ride portion seems to be phenomenal. When you go inside the building, it seems larger inside than the outside.
