In years past I went to SFMM in February and the park maps were the previous year, so nothing new. It's only annoying when they've added a new ride since then and it's not on the park map (not really the case here). On another note, looking at the recent park updates posted, wow that was a crowded February day! That looked more crowded then during WCB last September. I don't think I've seen I full queue for Ninja or Revolution since I went with Friday Night Live in HS in 1999. Being Presidents Day weekend with sunny, warm weather probably didn't help alleviate the crowds. This weekend should have much lighter crowds though with rain expected throughout CA (finally!).

The tickets seem expensive, like high end ski resort prices, but the four day ticket is only about $50 a day which isn't a bad deal. I hope they don't raise the CA prices though, or at least not the two day ticket price, as you only need two days to see the CA parks and it's definitely going to be more than $50 a day.

I just switched from the Mini-Hotness trip to the Mini East Coast trip. I can't wait! -
I personally hate sing alongs. If I want to see bad singing I'll go watch ( and possibly participate) in drunk karaoke at a bar.

I'm only including coasters I've actually been on. Cedar Fair: Xcelerator (Knott's) Six Flags: X2 (SFMM) SeaWorld Entertainment: Journey to Atlantis (SWSD) Universal: Revenge of the Mummy (USH) - Dragon Khan back when Universal owned Port Aventura Disney Parks: California Screamin' -
I saw it in 2D also even though we had the choice to see it in 3D. I personally just never "got" the whole 3D thing and it sort of hurts my eyes after a while. I thought the movie loved AMAZING in 2D and I just honestly don't even see the need for 3D, but that's just me... --Robb "Frozen is a movie that didn't need a 3D gimmick" Alvey While I do like 3D, especially for movies filmed in 3D like Gravity, I felt Frozen was great in 2D and that I wasn't missing out on the 3D. The only part of the showing I felt was designed specifically for 3D was that Mickey Mouse short they showed before the start of Frozen.

Ehhh you're not missing out on much. I got my tickets, but had i actually stopped and thought about whether or not it was worth it i probably wouldn't have. The coachella experience is fun! The line up is just ok :/ You actually got tickets in the 2 and 1/2 hour window they were available? You must have been pretty interested then. I think the lineup is pretty solid and varied with something for pretty much everyone. I definitely want to experience Coachella someday, maybe next year. Looking at past years' lineups, a lot of the bands listed in really tiny print have become really big, so Coachella is a place to watch for what may become the next big thing.

^ I'll have to try the Daiquiri, Cosmo, and Ocean Spray ones. I mainly buy the "Naturals" line because they are made with just sugar and no artificial sweeteners. I really like the Pink Grapefruit one.

If enough people from the Mini Hotness tour switch to the Mini East Coast Tour I'll be off the wait list and on the Mini Hotness tour list. -
^How is that one? Last soda I had was a frozen one: Strawberry Lemonade Icee while watching Frozen at the theatre.

I finally saw Frozen today and I really enjoyed it. The animation was really good (and I saw it in 2D because no theatre by me was still showing it in 3D) as well as the story. Being that Frozen is Disney's biggest animated success in several years, I could foresee a Frozen attraction at a Disney park in the future, perhaps at the Fantasyland section of the Disneyland/Magic Kingdoms. I didn't realize that Frozen came out at Thanksgiving, and it's still going strong. Saving Mr. Banks is a movie I'm curious about, but I would wait until it is available on Netflix streaming. Next movie I want to see is Wolf of Wall Street.

I'm totally torn between the Mini Hotness tour and the mini East Coast tour! I'm already wait listed for the Mini Hotness tour, so I'm wondering if I should stay on that tour or switch to the East Coast one. I've never been to any of these parks so which ones should I visit on my first TPR tour?? -

The new Ratatouille area looks great and much needed for Walt Disney Studios. I like the fact that trackless dark ride system is being used for a different ride in each Disney park and not a clone of Pooh in each park. I hope they continue that trend in CA and FL and give us two unique rides with the trackless system. A great French bakery and/or brasserie would be nice for the Ratatouille area of the park. All they would have to do is emulate an average bakery and brasserie in a good neighbourhood of Paris. -
Dude, it's Magic Mountain. Besides Scream is not one of the most popular rides at the park, it's probably not even in the top 10 most popular at Magic Mountain. It's off in a corner of at the park that some people can't navigate to, and even when it's running one train it rarely has a line longer than 30 minutes (at least in my experience).

I wonder how many people will start watching Brooklyn Nine Nine after it won the Golden Globe for best comedy last night. It's kind of like The Office in a Police station setting. Fox is going to be airing an episode of it after the Super Bowl (along with New Girl) so that gives a lot of people who've never seen it or heard of it exposure to it.

Coachella sells out in less than 3 hours on Friday for both weekends in April. It's too bad because I would have considered going this year. I guess next year I have to plan ahead and decide if I want to go before tickets go on sale.

I got a code for a free Redbox Game rental a few days ago and played Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Pretty good so far and it's like a non-Disneyfied version of Pirates of the Caribbean. I will be renting this game again the next time a get a free Redbox game code or movie code ($1.20 off a game).

Airborne Toxic Event "Hell and Back" Wow! An 18 year old still listening to CDs with a 6 CD changer. My sister is 23 and doesn't listen to CDs anymore. Decent song btw.
