You are correct. Never had any issues with the buses either. At closing they tend to get crowded, but everyone is getting off the bus at each stop, so it lightens up each time.

Cops can only determine fault by the facts and evidence of the incident. Not all case are black and white....heck, most aren't. I think your confusing your state's point system and how fault is determined.

Personally, I'm hoping they ban all cell phone use while driving. Your attention should be on the road, not who your talking to, or texting. Yesterday, I was almost backed into in a parking lot, sideswiped three times on my way home from the gym, and driven staight into when my neighbor pulled into the driveway. Three different occurences across approximately twenty total minutes of driving. All of the on their cell phones (and female ). Most people can't drive without cell phones. Let alone having one against their head at the same time.

Paying medical expenses would imply that Cedar Fair is admitting liability, which could hurt them in a lawsuit or settlement. In any case, as long as the family has health insurance, it would be up to the insurance company to sue Cedar Fair for reimbursement. OK, boys and girls, General Liability Policy 101 lesson coming up: Many GL policies have what is called a Medical Payments Coverage. Medical Payments Coverage is a seperate coverage under the policy, that allows the Insured (or the third party administrator handling the claims), to make medical payments to the claimant for any medical bills related to the occurence. However, the Medical Payments Coverage is a NO liability payment. It's a good faith offer, to help the claimant with some of their medical bills. I used to use it as a bargaining chip while I was still investigating a claim. Many times, insurance companies will offer this type of payment even when the insured isn't liable, but they feel a good faith offer is in order. Typically, the set of circumstances are in favor of the claimant, but there is still no liability (like a third party causing an issue, and not the insured in question), or the claimant has made no ridiculous demands, and is easy to work with during the claim investigation. I was just at KD on sunday & their haunt event blows the crap out of SF's any day of the week so I don't know which CF park you're trying to compare it to but you're way off in that assesment that just because it's free means it's no good.
