You left out Behemoth, Windseeker, Slingshot & waterslides, dinosaurs alive and planet snoopy. In our defense we make them a ton of money in a short amount of time.

So I did some Math and with the attendance over Cedar Point they brought in 30 million dollars extra last season in attendance alone. With Cedar Point having a hotel I still think we made more then them and pretty much made the same as Knotts open year round. We are their most profitable park especially in terms of expences compared to Knotts Berry Farm.

I think he was referring to Minebusters announcement, but he didn't say just said by the time I get back there should be more info released about the future. VERY VAGUE

Yes but he told me well before anyone knew. In May he was telling em to look at the mountain and I could never see anything and I remember texting him being like I can't see anything I don't believe you and he would just say fine but its there.. Windseeker I knew about the season before because of him. Kept saying it was a very tall Ferris wheel style of ride, he was close enough. He no longer works for the park and doesn't know what is coming in 2017 nor 2016. Just kind of had a feeling? He is now unreliable I was just stating what he said about Minebuster in it's final season as Minebuster. He did not know why it was being closed. Does this clarify stuff? I do want to point out when he worked for the park he was incorrect about stuff still to, thought Leviathan was going to be a b&m flyer and did not know about slingshot, further proving even employees higher up don't always know the answers to everything.

As I have said I don't have a reliable source I trust the person who told me this as they were right about WMG and Windseeker. I fully understand that this is a rumor and to be taken very very lightly. I am just sharing what I heard as he was right about the last two additions. I will say though he was wrong about Leviathan, said it was going to be a flyer.. So again take it as you please.

Maybe they found a buyer for Skyrider faster than anticipated. Maybe they just didn't want to pour more money in to it even though they might wait a year or longer to do something with the space. There could be any number of reasons why they took out Skyrider and possibly wait for an attraction until 2017. I doubt they really have an every 4 year deal with B&M, I don't think you can call something a trend with only 2 examples. Not trying to be argumentative, they (CW) has their master plan and we'll all find it out soon. I really do wish CF took a break from B&M, although Banshee was a nice surprise and Fury looks decent (I'll find out later this year). I love B&M but I'd like to see a little more variety in their new additions. Just my 2 cents. THANK YOU!!! It happened every 4 years here at CW once! It is not a trend! plus we just got a 10 million dollar coaster 2 years ago! Skyrider was removed to make way for leisure activities and Minebuster is being removed for 2017 coaster or remake.

The rumor is Ziz is a 2017 addition, Minebuster is being removed at the end of this season similar to Skyrider to make room for either Iron Horse or 2017 Ziz. The person did not know or could not disclose yet why Minebuster is being removed/ closed. I'm guessing that part so I could very well be wrong but with all the activity around Minebuster right now I'd say it's a very good bet. The whole point is getting Wonderlands mediocre coaster selection up to par with American Theme Parks. Cedar Fair is doing this across the chain.

no offense guys but Cedar Point is getting a massive coaster in 2016 and Canada's Wonderland 2017... Where do you fit in another massive coaster for Valleyfair? Both CP & CW have massive construction already.

My friends and I just stayed at Breakers. 1. Who does Cedar Point think they are to raise the prices to $450.00 minimum? Why I say this is because when we stayed there they didn't even have a wine bottle opener for us nor have concierge nor hotel dinner or lunch service... I can stay at The J W Marriott for less than that price. Don't get me wrong the renovations were amazing, the Starbucks was amazing the beach was amazing but not $450 minimum a night amazing. If you charge that much you must have the things t go with that price. 2. The hotel charged us the wrong price for fast passes with our platinum passes and when we called 3 different departments to complain the customer service department ended up realising they actually did make a mistake and charged us $20 more a person then they should have ($60) instead of refunding us they offered us miniputt.. MINIPUTT!!! lol All in all amazing job on the renovations, they just need to work some training kinks out with staff for fast passes and different types of pass promotions to their staff. They also need concierge for that price and people are going to bring their own wine to a resort like that so have bottle openers...

Do you actually think he would tell you what they are for (if they were for a coaster or some other attraction)? No I don't thus why if you saw how I asked him it was in sarcastic humor... However I do believe these markings not to be for a coaster as they are in green. Green is for landscaping thus like his response. look they updated the reason to why Skyrider was removed on their actual website.. hmmmm

Nah they are landscaping terms.

I got a reply on the facebook page from Norm the Vice President of operations at Canada's Wonderland he said they are elevation markings or bench marks.

It is similar to markings found out int he parking lot during Leviathan construction My guess could be Main Column 2

I want to point out to people who think Cedar Fair won't build two coasters in one year at two different parks.. Cedar Fair spent 172 million dollars on investments in 2015 and have spent similar numbers in the past. BUT WHAT COULD IT MEAN?

Rougarou is kickass, like literally kickass, my two friends and I went down for Victoria Day long weekend which is a Canadian Holiday and we all thought it was one of the best rides in the park now. Please no one shoot me for saying this but we called it B&M's version of Maverick cause it was very tight and quick.

Splash Works & Construction Update So SplashWorks looks ABSOLUTELY stunning, impressive job Wonderland and Cedar Fair, it's almost a 5 star Water Park! Construction wise for 2016 there is a massive increase in area now, with major land clearing next to Minebuster near Skyrider, lots of new stakes near Timber Wolf Falls and stakes near the entrance to SplashWorks close to Skyriders plot of land. Also we have mysterious markings painted all over the Skyrider pathway! So as of today there are around 20 red stakes in the land clearing area behind Minebuster and 4 red stakes on the splash works path behind the basketball game. I marked everything on one of the pictures below EVEN MORE land clearing now behind back lot stunt coaster orange marker in Minebusters queline either their draining the lake and don't care about the fish cause theres hardly any water left and a bunch of fish are sitting their beached and dead... or something else happened..
