    Thanks to Kunpc1 from Cwmania for sharing this twitter picture and many more on Cwmania, looks like the new 2014 ride is in the mountain! YAY it's official were getting something cool, maybe a beaver tails inside the mountain?

    More holes are appearing in the mountain under Vortex and some new blue and red markers in and around Vortex. Some you can tell are new from how clean the paint looks. I took a picture of the haunt maze running through the woods and its exterior is up and on the opposite side. Some of the markers are so far out you can't see them on an Iphone

    the white water canyon area didn't have significant clearing just looked like they cleared some stuff for maybe surveying. could be a 2015, 2016 , 2017 project as you know these things are planned years in advance. A haunt maze wont go back there as it leads to the water flow for white water canyon and out towards the highway. plus all the mazes are pretty much done exterior wise.

    Something is going on in the mountain, as a big chunk near the top is ripped open and they seem to be patching up around it with some markers on the outside. markers on ground and mountain wall mountain work old fencing and tree clearing going on behind white water canyon as well weird stumps near white water canyon appear to be hiding stuff

    I'm not saying you're wrong here, but a King Cobra isn't a "water snake," either--yet that's the name of the new water slide at Six Flags Great Adventure, So, as long as a water coaster is long and "snakelike," it wouldn't surprise me if Canada's Wonderland went with "Mamba" as a name for it. Just throwing that out for consideration. I have no idea what CW may have in store for next year. I just feel like if "Mamba" was meant for 2013 it would have been trademarked much earlier then November 2012.. I really feel like this name is for a 2014 coaster, obviously biased but yeah aha

    Dom, it's not going to be a water coaster as Mamba is the fastest land snake... Don't see how Mamba ties into water ride.. This is my take on it, the trademark was filed November 9 2012, to prepare for teasers and a 2013 announcement for a 2014 coaster. Trademark it in late 2012 to assure they have the rights to the name for a 2013 season announcement. I've listened to all of the conference calls for Cedar Fair and they always mention how Canada's Wonderland remains top for attendance and the last conference call they mentioned how for the first time ever Canada's Wonderland made more revenue then the other parks.

    "amba" was trademarked by Cedar Fair on the Canadian Governments Trademark database for use at Canada's Wonderland. The Trademark became registered on November 9th 2012. We know there really isn't anything coming next year as advertised or worthy of an announcement in 2012 operating season.     This Coaster is a beast! Photos and animations do not do this justice, I mean this coaster is almost always more then 90* tilted or on an airtime hill.... It's insane in person anyways pictures!!!! HEAD CHOPPER

    You actually can drive into Canada's Wonderland through the employee entrance to take pictures. Security has seen me do it 3 times now and not stopped me or anything and been right there. Just do the employee entrance on Jane Street. Thats where I keep taking my pictures, in the employee lot from my car.

    Very small update A bunch of the supports all the way up to front gate have been put up, and the so called "barrel roll" lol was added on a little bit. Kind of a pointless update but meh... I would have taken more pictures but security was parked right next to me and it was just a little awkward lol.

    November 17, 2011 They were assembling another giant crane around 2 pm today for the crown to be lifted into place, and they had two smaller cranes working at the ow to ground parts of the coaster. They also had the other giant crane that did most the hill doing more of the pull out from the drop. This was my first visit to see the lift hill almost complete and all I have to say is the renderings do not do this coaster justice what so ever! Let me just say I wasn't the only general public pulling into the parking lot to take a peak at Leviathan that's how enormous this beast is.

They give a teaser to the movie on the page to!

    Dinosaurs Alive is most likely coming to Canada's Wonderland in 2012 just judging by the mass construction going on over in the kids area. The old Dolphin Theater was torn down followed by lots of land clearing surrounding that area, and what looks like a path near the snoopy area. I am going to go and take pictures on Saturday and hope I don't get beat up by kids' parents for taking pictures and videos in the snoopy area for construction lol Youtube Channel is here, actual video of Leviathan construction coming soon & Dinosaurs Alive pictures on Sunday.

    I (A Canadian) will be attending a special 3 day weekend at Halloweekends October 21-23 and with some photos provided made a cool video. I have never been to an American Haunt event, but here in Canada we talk about how seriously you guys take Halloween so I'm very excited to participate in this awesome event. Any advice or recommendations is welcomed I need some great filming areas that maybe Cedar Point experts may know. You don't have to watch it's very simple and boring, it's for my subscribers, but that's my channel with lots of Canada's Wonderland Leviathan updates.

    Okay, I'm kind of annoyed at all this negativity about this new coaster.. Yeah I get it it's B & M and our last hyper was B & M, so what...... If this exact same layout came in 2012 but was Intamin no one would be making these negative comments about how poor of a decision it was on Cedar Fair.. Get over the fact that it's another B & M, it's not an upgrade nor is it unusual, It's a hyper and a giga coaster, not two hypers! The coaster is FANTASTIC, and features a slightlty taller lift hill and def a larger drop then I305 as ours goes slightly below ground level, has some close to ground elements, amazing hammerheads never seen before, and NO ONE on their facebook page has been complaining, all of the comments are like "OMG this looks so scary" or "amazing". Please get over the fact that it's not Intamin cause you woudn't be complaining if it was exactly the same ride but Intamin, youre just complaining cause it's B & M... Canada's Wonderland deserves this for their attendance and it's free advertising from all the major highways that surround this park!
