  1. Wonderland will not build a coaster into the forest, Wonderland on many occasions has said it's tree's are very important and they try to keep as many as possible. Also some interaction with Behemoth would enhance Behemoth at the same time
  2. I took the land clearing sites circled in blue and came up with a general path of this "longest' "multi launch" B&M Wing coaster rumor. Blue = land clearing/ red stakes White = launches Red = break run/ station area Green = track path
  3. You will 100% NEED fast pass for this park, remember highest attended seasonal theme park in North America and I've been going almost every day and the crowds are the worst I've seen but fast pass is a gem at this park.
  4. I'm Brendon Cross on that page I'm the one takking all the pictures also if you facebook message me I have updated pics of the massive land clearing I just can't post them cause they dont follow park policies
  5. Massive Land clearing from couple days ago the land clearing now bulldozed the service roads I can't post an updated picture cause it comes from a Youtube onride video, also to note this land clearing is somewhat close to the Skyrider plot of land. General Managers tweet
  6. This is what I saw today and took pictures of indepth
  7. correction RMCing is cheap, it costs as much as most thrill rides. Windseeker and WMG cost the same amount as an RMC.
  8. I can't describe the mass of land the land clearing takes up along side Minebuster and now with red stakes beside it near the entrance of the ride I am sold on an RMC of Minebuster for 2016 and major coaster addition in Skyriders plot of land in 2017.
  9. May 20, 2015 Construction update on *PROJECT 2016* So there are now red stakes near Minebuster and some digging going on, but most importantly there is a MASSIVE amount of land clearing going on they are bringing in dirt and flattening the land beside Minebuster! I'm starting to think were getting an RMC on Minebuster in 2016 and the Skyrider replacement will be 2017 like the rumor has been suggesting. More to add to this RMC is theres a new road being built leading towards Minebuster from underneath Behemoths Helix. NEW Cabanas NEW splash pad with a dump bucket New kiddie play area. new construction path being built heading towards Minebuster Excavator creating new path towards Minebuster MASSIVE land clearing around Minebuster
  10. it's not for splash works as Cabanas are up and concrete is done, and typhoon is up and one as well. The land clearing going on is either for a major coaster or another splash works expansion in 2016.
  11. Currently on site; 2 large excavators 1 mini excavator 4 bulldozers, 1 of which just arrived on a flat bed truck 2 days ago. 2 construction trailers 1 next to Behemoth and another over by splash works/ white water canyon. My guess to land clearing by splash works is cause they can't land clear right next to the wave pool during splash works operational season.
  12. I agree A nice Wingrider looks like it a very possible option with some interaction with Behemoth and Minebuster
  13. With the land clearing alongside Minebuster all the way to Behemoths turnaround I strongly feel it's makes obvious the direction of this new coaster. whether it be 2016 or 2017 I think this is going to be a Wingrider and follow this path.
  14. From skydivers plot of land to mine busters area to splash works and behemoth turn around we have active construction.. it's not a slash upgrade again cause those don't start this early and with splash works about to open. My honest guess is a hotel is gonna be built behind behemoths turnaround and a new entrance to the park is being built or were getting some long as coaster
  15. Trip report from today They removed splash works entrance... had lots of construction workers flattening the land after removing skydivers electrical and sprinkler systems.
  16. http://metronews.ca/news/canada/1121159/after-29-years-canadas-wonderlands-skyrider-being-retired/ Again, something tells me Timber Wolf Falls might see the Axe at the end of 2015 for a "VERY LARGE" construction project.
  17. Until the park confirms what we are getting and when, I will be optimistic still. Regardless, the 2015 season still hasn't officially started so lets concentrate on that for a while and some of the amazing entertainment offerings coming this year. Something that Wonderland has been picking their game up with for sure. I am intrigued to see what changes have been made to Dimensions as well how their first Octoerberfest goes over. I'm so excited for Oktoberfest, I'm def going to be at the park hammered aha
  18. If the rumors are true and our 2016 coaster is now at Cedar Point, if that's even remotely true. Does anyone think Minebuster might close after this season or mid season for an Rocky mountain coaster makeover? You will also see in CWFANPAGE/ Intheloops youtube video the trees at Minebusters entrance are marked for removal with green X's on them. Something just seems fishy about Minebusters area right now. I know this may sound far fetch but a rocky mountain coaster makeover is around 10 million dollars and we saw them spend 10 million on Wonder mountains guardian after leviathan, so maybe with the 2016 coaster delay they bumped up an RMC coaster makeover on Minebuster. We all know guests complain about the two wood coasters very often. I honestly have a sneaky feeling were going to see a makeover in 2016 of Minebuster and Skyriders spot filled in 2017. After all they did refer to the construction project in that area to the media as Large project/projects. notice the trees and their decent sized ones to next to Minebusters drop. This was updated in 2014. Now a recent picture shows the trees removed and a massive pile of dirt next to Minebusters drop.
  19. So guys I myself am now on the band wagon of no coaster for 2016, I've heard a pretty trusted rumor the 2016 coaster is delayed till 2017 but was given no reason... I think were going to see grass in the skyrider spot for one more season... as I hear grass is being layed down soon.
  20. So you mean a picture like this and another one over by Skyrider.
  21. correction if you look closely you'll notice the bulldozed out to the Vortex island meaning they probably need some trucks to reach there. You'll also notice the construction trailer parked on the walkway and men in suits or jackets on the construction site. You also see a small cement mixer out towards the pond. And in splash works you see a new entrance being constructed circled in blue.
  22. Wild Beast being re-tracked this season!
  23. For anyone needing a good laugh today here's a re-known comedian in Canada at the park for Leviathan, it's a really funny video.
  24. This photo shows what I am going to predict as the temporary splash works entrance for 2015 is going to be as by the looks of things the area around skyrider is blocked off for 2016 coaster construction. as you can the perfect line of construction markers leading into splash works
