  1. Moser-Rides Top Star Tour - mostly becuase I think this is cleary aimed at thrill-loving teens and not a "ride for the whole family" most theme parks want to have. ^I Think the Mondial Shake has the same audience.
  2. ^agreed on that! While visiting the park was well filled but by no means to capacity - and nevertheless they operated Lisebergbanan with 5 trains and waits around 5-10 minutes. Many other parks seem to do not care - having more than one hour lines and still running only one train as if they might think "the less the poeple ride the less we have to pay for maintenance".
  3. Thanks for the TR and the many pics! After riding Tornado at Särkeniemmi I think Intamin inverts are the surpreme species of inverts but sadly there are so little numbers around. Also love Looping Starships - mostly when its already breaking and makes an ultra-sloooooooooow last flip. On the one hand they dont have lapbars only like Ranger or Traumboots but on the other hand they have no closed cabins like the before mentioned...
  4. So far saldy was not able to ride a GIB - but to be able to some day. My only point of comparison would be the smaller Invertigo which surprisingly ran without the roughness and headbanging the SLCs have. And if a quite small - and now sadly bancrupt - family park like Sommerland Syd could service an Invertigo one wonders why a huge park chain like SF could not do with GIBs...
  5. So far we know that Russians love to build their coasters in unique colors... Hope they can still do some landscaping till opening and not simply put them into a concrete desert.
  6. I think the model is only a proposal from which cannot be deducted the rides that will be installed. Otherwise why would they put 2 (!) Afterburner into the model?
  7. La Feria alone would be reason for me to visit Mexico city for its two Schwarzkopf coasters. I saw it on some pics on the background: Was the Weber Traumboot - looping ship - running?
  8. ^agreed As you will not ride this coaster while raining why would coasters like this a roofed station? As if the roof is needed the station under it would likely be empty...
  9. Great TR from a beautiful park - I guess all SF parks would look like this if Efteling would take them over. Not a bad thought overall...
  10. As for planning to visit the USA again in 2015 tuning it a little down next year.... definite - Hansa-Park, home park - Heide-Park, home park - Tusen Fryd, spring tour 1 - Liseberg, spring tour 1 - Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen with friends - Bakken, Copenhagen with friends planned, but still under financial hold - Alton Towers, spring tour 2 - Drayton Manor, spring tour 2 - Holiday Park - Belantis - Djurs Sommerland, spring tour 1 add-on - Faarup Sommerland, spring tour 1 add-on planned, but as of now unlikely - Efteling - Toverland - Bobejeland - Walibi Belgium carnivals - Hamburg, Frühlings-, Sommer- and Winter-DOM - Bremen, Osterwiese and Freimarkt
  11. So have return to Efteling - such an amzing park with kind of magic feel aside from this only Disney delivered.
  12. Thanks for the TR! If all goes well will see this parks in 2015...
  13. Looking good.... According to the website the park will close tomorrow for the winter and will re-open next April.
  14. Any project status on this and the Mack looper? Were this not supposed to be ready by the Winter Olympics? Only about 2 months of time left...
  15. Sorry! Only read till "vending machines" and skipped "theme parks" - post deleted.
  16. By this bad pic also hard to say if the concrete block is some kind of old foundation as the excavator could also have a jackhammer at its tip....
  17. Sounds like a cool theme park idea! Still known were it will be located?
  18. In German/Danish parks if going with friends a cart fully loaded with foods, cold drinks, beer and some shots for the fun of it. A blanket for the picnic and all the small stuff - camera, smartphone, charger, sd-cards, sunglasses, glasses-strap, etc... Going alone just the small stuff.
  19. Inverted coasters always seem to have long lines. At Heide-Park the line for Limit - Vekoma SLC - is mostly longer than the line for Desert Race - Intamin Accelerator. How strange this may seem....
  20. IMO its kind of amazing how far some Schwarzkopf coasters have gone. Loved the pics from the Looping Star at some Botswana safari park...
  21. Northern Germany had heaps of snow the last 2-3 winters which was quite unusual before that. So I guess they put up the new coaster before winter this time - not gambling on how this winter will turn out snow-wise. Will be interesting to see how Hansa-Park will handle the construction öf Kärnan as the Baltic Sea area also gets lots of snow every year lately. I personally would be happy if the snow restricts itself to the mountains to where it belongs - I love chill but sunny winters...
  22. ^Strangely the new trains are not made for taller poeple - I am 1,95m and fit in barely - any taller and it will not fit. And while taller riders could - with nice attendants - still ride with one lapbar over each leg with Schwarzkopf looper trains this is not possible for the new trains as they have individual seats.
  23. EVERY time at Heide-Park some kids boast about how Limit - the Vekoma SLC - is "the best coaster EVAR!!!"
