  1. I didn't think Gwazi was bad when I was at the park in April. Seeing as I was used to rough woodies, and I did sit in the front row as well, I thought it was a decent ride. It gave me a thrill factor, but I would rather ride all the other rides in the park.
  2. Six Flags Magic Mountain vs Cedar Point The battle of the coaster capitals of the world.
  3. Six Flags Over Texas
  4. I have to say Central Florida. I've been to all the Disney parks there and BGT. I loved the times I had there and was never complaining. I may enjoy the West Coast if I ever get there.
  5. Oh, come on--Vekoma has done far worse than that. For example: SFOG's Ninja
  6. Looks to be another great Schwarzkopf, but then again, when is there not one? (Revolution doesn't deserve to be treated the way it's treated.)
  7. Bumping this for the sake of yet another spam thread.
  8. 1) Mind Bender(SFOG) 2) Kumba 3) Goliath(SFOG) 4) Montu 5) Sheikra 6) Cheetah Hunt 7) Batman: the Ride(SFOG) 8) Georgia Scorcher 9) Superman: Ultimate Flight(SFOG) 10) Georgia Cyclone Yep, I need to get out of the southeast.
  9. If you aren't aware: Source
  10. Congrats Falcons, I hope you realize that you guys need some serious work on your defense. Losing 3 in a row, wow. I hope this game is a wake up call.
  11. Maybe the issue with X2 will make SFMM realize that they should have an extra chain lift in case something like this happens again. Then again, we are talking about SFMM here.
  12. I seriously need to get to one of these German fairs when I'm older. Great pictures!
  13. It's great that El Loco is already up on vertical construction. It shouldn't take long until it's done.
  14. I imagine something similar to that. While Flying Turns has a smaller hourly output than Gate Keeper, Cedar Point is also much larger than Knoebels. I could see lines up to six hours for tomorrow.
  15. If you read what I said, SFMM was one of the Six Flags parks to have either a GCI, RMC, or Intamin woodie.
  16. GA Cyclone. Out of all the Six Flags parks, SFOG is one of the few to not feature a new wooden coaster or hybrid from GCI, RMC or even Intamin. Let's see: SFOT: NTAG SFFT: IRat SFGAm: Goliath SFGAdv: El Toro SFMM: Apocalypse and Iron Colossus SFStL: American Thunder SFM: Medusa: Steel Coaster SFA & SFDK: Roar(even if they aren't the best coasters) Point is, only SFNE, La Ronde, and The Great Escape are the only three other Six Flags parks that don't have a wooden coaster from these three manufacturers. At the very least, convert all the track to Topper Track, give the coaster new trains from RMC, and turn it back into the insanely fun ride it supposedly was before it was neutered by Six Flags..
  17. I wouldn't count half of these rides as the top 100. They just took a list of 100 random and well-known coasters, put them in alphabetical order, and said it was the list of the best 100. They didn't even check to make sure that the picture matched the coaster they were talking about. Anyways, I got 5/100.
  18. It would be hilarious to see a Boomerang on Deja Vu's spot. Well, Apocalypse is on the same spot Psyclone used to sit on...
  19. It would cost much more money for the park to refurbish the track than for a new coaster. When Astroworld closed, the coaster was not disassembled correctly, and most of the track was heavily damaged. Also, the track has been sitting out in the elements for so many years that it is more valuable as scrap metal than a coaster.
  20. Found out earlier that I'll be at the park on October 12th. This is my first Fright Fest ever as well, but I'd rather ride Anton greatness all day rather than watching a bunch of people scare people.
  21. For a permanent coaster, this has to be the fastest construction in a while. This thing just flew up there in no time. Huge props to the construction crew on this.
