I'm currently looking for cheap flights from MIA to ATL as I might go to SFOG & Carowinds on 05/12 - 05/13 or something. so far I like the sleep inn right next to sfog which is about $70 a night (at least for AAA members). it seems to be pretty new too. I think the biggest problem is gonna be finding a cheap flight. grrrr.

Last coaster: Montu. On the drive to BGA i said to my gf i would like to sleep in SheiKra's comfy seats while climbing the lifthill, and later we actually got stuck on it for like 10 minutes or so. too bad i couldn't sleep anymore

i'm gonna meet up with a few other people the weekend starting 06/16 to 06/17. no other dates possible, so i will have to live with whatever the crowds will be i don't remember where i read the following words: any day at cedar point is better than a day at work

i don't like the new calendar for the opening hours. you have to hover over every day in order to see if the park is open or not...

nice report! i definitely wanna visit sfog some time soon. is it possible to do sfog and carowinds in two days? i'd have to take a plane from miami, fl to atlanta on friday night, then grab a car, go to carowinds on saturday, drive back to atlanta and go to sfog on sunday. i'm used to driving long distances. best, stefan

Hey I'm currently doing an exchange year over here in the us. i'd like to visit cedar point before the end of the season. would you guys recommend going there during one of the halloweekends, or is it not worth the journey from southern kansas (where i will be going to college until the end of 2006 before im gonna move to florida at the beginning of 2007) to sandusky, regarding special halloween attractions and crowds etc? rgrds stefan

As I will be doing an exchange year in America from august '06 to july '07 I hope I can make it to as many parks as possible I don't know where i will be staying for the first half of the year (aug - jan) but i will be at Miami, FL the 2nd half of the year (feb-jul). Be prepared to read a lot of questions regarding trips to parks later this year

I just came back from the public opening event Awesome coaster! It was my first ever B&M, so i have no comparison... Some people say it's better than Nemesis, others say it's not as good as Nemmy, but everyone agrees that it's a agreat coaster overall! I like the far left seat in the last row the most, the forces are crazy in that seat. And i think you won't get bored while queing, the queue is right in the centre of the action. The train flys by above, underneath and beside you all the time thus you have a great view of the coaster and a lot of good opportunities to take some pictures. The station is also absolutely great looking! Btw, a better onride video than those two onrides on youtube are coming in the next days, stay tuned And a very short offride clip (3mb, first drop and a helix can be seen )
