  1. ^He's talking about Runaway Mountain at SFOT...not Skull Mountain. Even though they did talk about Runaway Mountain in the thread anyway...
  2. Actually, wasnt Nitro going to be Superman at one point in time, but a quick name and color scheme change turned it into Nitro? Anyway the El Toro pics look great! I can't wait for this summer to come around.
  3. I rode it this week...IMO, I love this log flume. In fact I wish more log flumes could be like this one. I love the idea of 2 large drops instead of some step-drops and one large one. And I love the fact that you come off soaking wet!
  4. Nope...I've been on both, and both are two totally different rides.
  5. I have two. One is Rye Playland or Playland Park in Rye, NY. They have a great woodie with some decent airtime, a fun little wild mouse, and some great water rides and flats. Some of their rides can be rough though like their Zamperla Volare, OUCH that thing hurts. Another one is Adventureland in Farmingdale, NY. I love their roller coaster, Hurricane, IMO I think it's one of the most intense compact coasters. They have a great log flume and some crazy flats like Frisbee, Pirate Ship, and the Music Express.
  6. My family is planning a trip to Cedar point this summer. Can you guys help me by telling me what to expect, like what rides to go on, where I should go first, and stuff like that. Some rides I definetly want to hit are: MF, TTD, Raptor, Magnum XL200, Blue Streak, Gemini, maXair, and Skyhawk. Can you guys also review some rides for me, I have no idea what to expect on rides like Mean Streak, Wicked Twister, DT, and Iron Dragon.
  7. AHH I cant wait untill El Toro Opens . BTW, I cant believe how fast progress on El Toro is going since the season started. This winter I thought it would never be done. Also I'm glad the KK is having a very smooth start besides opening day.
  8. Oops...I forgot to post this other ride I love. It's the Hurricane at Adventureland in Farmingdale, Long Island. You cant beat the rides diving drop. Here's some pics thanks to rcdb: http://rcdb.com/ig409.htm
  9. ...Airtime? If your refering to when your feet go up by 2 cm, sure. Otherwise, please enlighten me or just stfu. Letsee... SoB MF (lack of air does it for me) FoF (Fun, but the constant curve gets old and stupid) Your Favorite Coaster Dude don't be so harsh, thats his opinion, he doesnt deserve you saying STFU to him. Anyway some overrated ones I believe are Apollos Chariot and The Beast. They just dont seem "thrilling" to me.
  10. I admit it...I LOVE Viper at SFGadv. Too bad it's gone now ...
  11. What do you expect from Mini KK? Haha just kidding... Anyway, It's KK's second season and after opening day weekend I heard its running better so maybe they've got the problems fixed out. This will most likely happen to Stealth as well. It will have a rough opening but, later in the season or even next year it probably will get better.
  12. Roughness really isnt a problem at all for me. I went on Viper at SFGadv and I thought it wasnt rough at all, meanwhile people got off the rides holding their necks. In fact I think Manhattan Express looks really fun.
  13. I have a question and yes it does have to do with stand-ups. Is Mantis really that rough? I'm going to Cedar Point this summer and it looks like a fun ride. Can someone tell me if it's worth the wait?
  14. I always thought the coaster Regina at Tobu Zoo was pretty funny. I mean imagine saying, "Lets go ride Regina!"
  15. Ugh, I can't wait for this summer to roll around, I can't wait to rode this thing, and I can't believe they finally painted RAMT....can't wait for its new trains. Anyway, does anyone have pics of the new trains?
  16. In your opinion, what do you think is the best Arrow Suspended Coaster that still exists? I think the Big Bad Wolf at BGW is the best one. I love the drop over the Rhine River and the turn afterwards, IMO that can't be beat.
  17. My dream theme park: Coasters B&M Mega coaster at least 250 feet tall Intamin Accelerator with a long layout Intamin Plug and Play Woodie GCI Wooden Twister Large B&M Flying coaster Large B&M Floorless 2 Kiddie Coasters 1 Family Coaster Thrill Rides S&S Tower Intamin Stand Up Gyro Tower Huss Giant Frisbee Enterprise Monster Power Surge Huss Top Spin Slingshot Sky Coaster Pirate Ship Gentle Rides Wave Swinger Carousel Disk-O Bumper Cars Bumper Boats Simulator (similar to Spongebob at SFGadv) Kiddie Section Water Rides 2 Log Flumes Tidal Wave Rapids Ride Kiddie Flume Sections Themed to sections of the World, kinda like BGW North America South America Africa Europe Asia Antartica This would have up to 4 kiddie sections for the kids and families to enjoy, as well as many thrill areas for the teenagers and adults.
  18. I love the Loch Ness Monster's tunnel. I love the fact that its a helix inside a tunnel, it feels like its never-ending! P.S. 100th post!!!
  19. ^Indiana Beach is surrounded by water. Anyway I love mountain settings so of course I chose Dollywood.
  20. Mine used to be the Coaster at Nunley's, it was only 5 minutes away, unfortunetly I can't find a picture of it but the Lil' Phantom at Kennywood is most like it. Now it's The Hurricane at Adventureland: http://rcdb.com/ig409.htm?picture=1
  21. Here's my list: Hurricane (Playland Park, Relocated) Dragon Wagon (Adventureland, Long Island) Viper (SFGadv) Jet Star (Casino Pier) Wizards Cavern (Casino Pier) The one I miss the most is probably Viper. Even though it was rough it was really unique and I loved the first inversion, it felt as if I were upside down forever haha.
