Yeah I know. I was kind of kidding about naming it Green Lantern, just because Six Flags and Cedar Fair are both uncreative with their names. For obvious reasons, Flight Deck wouldn't go to a rival park anyway. I could see Cedar Fair pulling a Kentucky Kingdom instead of a Geagua Lake (sell the park, still keep it open, but steal the best ride), and transplant Flight Deck to Kings Island. With a different name, obviously. It will be very interesting to see how this whole situation plays out.

Wood- El Toro Steel- Behemoth I can't imagine anything beating my beloved Toro for wood, but Behemoth will probably be dethroned this summer

While food trucks have a history of making me nauseous, the food here looked pretty tasty. Maybe I've just been eating at the wrong places. Great TR, it would be cool if NYC did something like this.

Yes I do! I thought I was the only one! I liked Batman, but I don't really see why everyone says it's so intense, it has ONE really intense moment (the zero-g roll), while SLC's feel much faster, and are intense all the way through. And the arm/footchoppers on SLC's really can't be beat. Sure, they're rougher, but they're not nearly as bad as the enthusiast community says they are. Basically, it's good to know I'm not alone in this world with my SLC love.

I didn't count the seconds, but the loading time was about the same as any other page on this site using Chrome

Dragon Mountain- Marineland Conclusion: When a SLC is your #7, it's a sign that you need to get out and ride some coasters! The main problem I have is unenthusiastic parents, but hopefully this list will be fixed this year.

Oh, in that case, a SFNE/Lake Compounce trip would be great.

Awesome! Now we have to hope that the changes reduced the forces enough that they won't have to trim the drop AGAIN. Looks great, and I hope to ride it sometime soon.

If you're considering SFNE/Lake Compounce, my advice wold be to choose one, and make SFGA your second park. SFGA also has a top woodie that just won #1 in the Mitch Hawker poll, not to mention the world's tallest coaster, a B&M hyper, and a grand total of five B&M's. In other words, a much better lineup than either of the other two parks (though they're nice also). Also, if you do both, you can spend some time in NYC if you haven't been there before.

I've given this a good deal of thought in the past, and I would have to say Pittsburgh. First of all, you have Kennywood for a great home park. Then you have Waldameer, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Knoebels, Hersheypark, Dorney Park, and Six Flags Great Adventure all in a reasonable driving distance. And if you want to push it, you can also hit Six Flags America, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Kings Dominion, Lake Compounce, Six Flags New England, and Holiday World. That makes for a grand total of 15 accessible parks! Not to mention, Pittsburgh is a cool city. Basically my criteria is having a good park in your backyard, a lot of parks in the surrounding area, and not being isolated from other parks. As far as home parks go, my picks would be Cedar Point or Magic Mountain. With that number of coasters, it would take a really long time to get bored when there's just so much going on. Orlando definitely has the best concentration of parks, but it's a little one-note, all great theming and amazing B&Ms. That's awesome, but it could get a little repetitive if you lived there. For worst places to live, it doesn't get any worse than the Mountain West for coasters.

Thinking about it, there really are a lot of options. BGW/KD HP/Knoebels SFMM/KBF Pick any two- WDW/SeaWorld Orlando/Universal Orlando/BGT SFGA/SFNE or Lake Compounce Holiday World/Indiana Beach Hope this helps

Well I've been on El Toro, but nothing else in the Top 25! That will be fixed this summer, though. I love El Toro so much. And to the person that said El Toro only has four moments of , that may be true, but each moment is just insane, and it makes up for it with the most kickass turnaround ever, and the ending twister section, OMG it's like being attached to the back of the train and being dragged along at 70 mph, but without any pain. Amazing. Now I can't wait until May to see how Boulder Dash compares

Simply amazing. I especially love the shots taken under the figure-8. BGT is doing an even better job than I thought they would, and that's a pretty high bar to beat. Looks like I'm going to Tampa when I go to Florida next year.

How extensive will the on-ride theming be in comparison to the video?

There is about a 0% chance that you guys will be getting something like Maverick. You guys know that there's something called money, right? No chance that Cedar Fair will spend 20 million of it (the cost of Maverick), plus all the maintenance required for two launch sections on a dying park. If Cedar Fair is serious about a new coaster (not a given after Geauga Lake), you better believe that it'll be something cheaper, a compact GCI, which would cost 5-6 million, or a compact steel coaster like an El Loco or Zacspin. These would be great coasters, and could help turn this park around, but don't expect CF to spend Cedar Point or Kings Island money on Great America. Don't get your hopes up is what I'm trying to say.
