Sorry, I stand behind the fact that we (Sammi and me) are still totally entertained by this addition, however, as I have noted before #1) We were new to TAR with the last (Rob and Ambah, Susan and Patrick Vaughn) season and #2) we are geeks. That said, however, I must agree that these "production errors" seem totally unfair and very poor planning on a production being filmed by names as big as CBS and Jerry Bruckheimer. Serious or silly (around here there's always plenty of both!!), what are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? I am thankful for having a healthy, happy 7 year old who loves amusement parks and dance and mindless tv shows.... I am thankful for a great family and friends..... I am thankful for a decent place to live, a great school district and the fact I am never more than 15 minutes away from a roller coaster (even if some of them are crappy). I am thankful for TPR and the fact that I can count you all among my friends! Have a great turkey day.... Shari

You guys will be great parents and Elissa, you will love being a mom. It is so much fun to share the things you are passionate about and have your kids get into them with you. I will never forget Sammi's first coaster ride....Top Cat's Taxi Jam. She was 16 months old, and I just said "Cm'on, we're going to ride this" and off we went. She was scared for all of about 2 seconds, and that was it. By the second time around, her hands were up. I was in my freakin' glory, though, because I knew it was just the beginning! ^lol I just have a crazy life.... crazier than I thought I would, I guess. I love my mom to death and would be lost without her for many reasons, but boy! is it tough when they get old!! I'm just not ready for her to be a "little old lady". Shari

I sometimes have a hard time following the trip reports where pics get added as you go (I miss things, what can I say??), but I understand on a huge trip like some of Robb and Elissa's it would seem crazy to do a separate day for each. I think it would be a good idea to, at the beginning of your thread, tell us to check back for updates so that we know you are going to continue to add to the same thread. ^^Good one, Maureen! You know, I have mentioned this about a million times on here.... I have a congenital heart problem that was serious enough to cause me to go into congestive heart failure when I was pregnant with my daughter. I have always ridden coasters and thrill rides, but now that I am pushing 40 and the rides are pushing greater limits themselves, I am very careful. I would not ride a TTD or Kingda Ka, simply because as a mom, the thrill is not worth the risk. Chances are I would be fine, but who knows? Anyone who enters a theme park with a pre-existing medical condition and isn't willing to choose carefully what he/she rides as a result of that condition is doing so at their own risk, and it always pisses me off when you hear a family or the patron themselves is suing a park for what happened to them. ^Well, it's been kind of a combination of things.... My office decided to cut back the hours that the phones are on, so those of us who work 4/10s have taken on some additional responsibilites (mine is new patient packets-which has proven to be a BIG mistake!) to do during the time the phones are not on, as a way to get our hours in. Plus, we got a new phone system put in, and I now get a larger volume of calls than I had been. Consequently, my "down time" during which I surfed the net has been greatly reduced. Second, I have a side business, direct sales for a company called Tastefully Simple (actually, they have a product I want to send you-I'll have to get your mailing address) and this is my busy season with that. Finally, just my family and a lot going on there. Hubby and I are trying to deal with financial issues, Sammi takes dance twice a week and is also dancing in a Christmas show the studio does, and my mom retired last month at the age of 80!! So, I just have been super busy. So, that's what I've been up to. Busy girl am I!!! Shari
