I get to go to Scare School tomorrow for CGA's Halloween Haunt. Im really pumped to start working next week as it has been a dream of mine to work at Haunt since the event has started a few years ago.

Yea after messing around with the app some more, these don't look too bad it' when you start to zoom in and move around. A few things that are messed up is Drop Tower is almost completely gone, the turn around just after the corkscrew on Vortex is cut off. Then there are some other minor things that are messed up.

So here's some screen shots from the new iOS 6 map app. There is a ton of glitches in the 3D mode, and in my opinion it doesn't look very good.

It really has, I was really surprised that they were even working this past Saturday as they tend not to work on the weekends. With the rate construction is going I could see the ride being open on opening day or shortly there after.

Someone posted this picture on the park's Facebook, all I have to say is im glad we went to the park yesterday. It looks like it was packed today!

^ Alright that's good to know, I never really payed attention to which train I had gotten so I could have just lucked out every time. I still need to get a visit in this year as I haven't gone and it's killing me! Hoping to go during Holiday in the Park.

I guess I have always been lucky with Kong, never really had a bad ride. What was really strange yesterday while riding in Flight Deck's Eagle train I had a roughest ride on a B&M and it made Kong feel glass smooth.

California's Great America may be adding a Windseeker in 2014 or later. It will take the spot of the former Invertigo site. If this rumor ends up being true, I think it would be a nice addition to the park even if it is a smaller model compared to the others.

So I went to the park today with the usual group of people plus more! At one point in the day we had ten TPR members and had an interesting ride on Loggers Run! I will let some of the others explain more about the day.I will post the good stuff,pictures! Plus more will be posted as well by others. Over near the white tent checking out Gold Striker. TWISTY Noticed a gate was open, some Haunt props were back here. From here to the end is Haunt pictures, M^4 has a facade being built. Some props waiting to go in. Open door... Looking back... The time we made it back again the door was feeling a little blue. My office is getting ready. The Club Bloid sign is up.

If tomorrow is like anything I experienced last Saturday, we should have a great time tomorrow with hardly any waits! Nothing like walking up to a station and having it be empty!

So I was messing around with Google Maps and looking around the park, then I noticed the street view went on this little backstage path and I found something interesting and really cool. The park uses two of the old train cars in the Redwood Amphitheater! Not really sure what the rooms in there are for though. Plus the name of the area is the Redwood Depot. Here's a picture of comparison, you notice the curved roof and the same back railing that is still there today. Here's a close of view confirming that is the train cars, since they still have the original wheels and sitting on rails.

I also have a feeling that Vortex will be repainted as you could definitely see fresh neon yellow/green markings on the inside of the tracks while riding along on the front row, we'll see! There seemed to be a lot more of it now in the loop and around the corkscrew, also noticed some purple which seems very bright compared to the faded purple!

He was just before the break run, (It was on the right side.) Everyone had a sigh of relief that it got out of the way. Congrats on your new Gold Pass! Im surprised we didn't run into each other, I also wasn't wearing a TPR shirt so you may have not have noticed me either.

Ok that's good to know. When I took my pictures on my phone I shot them wrong so when I put them on my computer they are upside down. So I changed them to right side up and I was worried that you were on a computer and they were upside down, since on my end they are good.

So I went to the park today and was prepared for a busy Saturday, and man was I wrong! Today was one of the quietest days I had at the park, and it was a nice change for once! To give you an idea, a little after 2pm almost all of Flight Deck's rows were a walk on! Also on a random note, I'm thinking Vortex will get repainted next year since Gold Striker is opening up. Plus if you ride in the front row you can see some areas were they put "test" paint at. So now a fun story time, I was on Grizzly having a smooth yet good ride then I noticed a squirrel on the side of the track! As the train was making it's way past it ran incredibly ! I had never seen a squirrel run so fast in my life! Luckily he was ok and didn't get ran over. *EDIT* If you view this on an iPhone or some other smartphone device, the pictures may appear upside down. This is because I took the pictures the wrong way and had to turn them right side up. Yet for whatever reason they still show upside down on these devices. Walking into the park I saw this, yay Haunt is almost here! Some Halloween ribbon up in Celebration Plaza. Making my way to Flight Deck I noticed the Gauntlet is being set up! Skeletons are hanging out. Flying Eagles has yet to transform into Ghost Gliders but there is some coffins on the grass area! Yay Werewolf Canyon sign! The maze I will be in this year. More pictures of the maze later on. Pirate Island is back again this year, which ironically isn't close to Dead Man's Cove. Spiderwebs near Black Widows Cavern, which has some new props this year. (I think ) News on Drop Tower, both cabins 1&2 are down so avoid the right side. Cornstalkers getting set up Gold Striker looking awesome! This is were the entrance for Madame Marie's: Massacre Manor will be. Some more Gold Striker, but we will get to that in a bit. This was around 1:15, an empty Vortex station! Making my way towards to Star Tower, I see you hiding new vertical construction. Some markings on the ground, the coaster will eventually go in this area. Ground level look at construction from a secret area! On Star Tower now, more green markings. More footers! More wood has gone up! Now on Delta Flyer taking a look at "my maze"/ Werewolf Canyon! To end the TR, demon has these new signs up showing which rows you are in.

In line for Grizzly at CGA: This girl was talking about how at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk they have a "fake" Drop Tower, referring to Double Shot. She then continued to say that it flew off the top twirled around and killed a bunch of people. When I heard that I couldn't even believe what I had just heard.

GCI posted some construction pictures up on their Facebook today, nothing new but it does give us a ground level view of the construction. Building some bents. Building some bents with the first section of structure standing in the background. New footers. Footers curing.
