Thunder Bay is way out in no man's land. It's just one less annoying credit to have to pick up in my opinion. I'm sure some in the city will be disappointed, but hopefully whatever they put in it's place makes up for it.

I'll admit the new attractions do sound pretty good. I guess we'll see if they made the right call in the next season or two.

On a Sunday in July it could potentially be Cedar Point like busy. Especially with Leviathan just opening this year. I highly recommend the fast lane ticket, especially at the discounted rate.

If you've never been to Cedar Point before, and plan on spending one day, I would recommend getting it even if the park might not be that busy. You will want re-rides on Maverick and Millennium Force and avoiding the line for the Dragster is huge too.

^ Richmond is closest to the parks. And DC is a couple hours to the North.

I'm definitely going to have to try to make it down for that weekend!

Maybe back then it might have made more sense but I can't imagine they would consider building a potential 400+ acre park only 2 1/2 hours away from Cedar Point now. Wonder why they held on to the land all these years.

Always good news to hear a park implementing a fast pass like system. Hershey is definitely a park that will benefit from it.

Cab Fare one way between Kennywood and Idlewild is anywhere from $120 to $125 according to TaxiFareFinder.com. (http://bit.ly/HGaObA) If your old enough to rent a car, it would be doable, but otherwise just take the time to enjoy Kennywood. It's not a park that you want to rush through.

I went with the TPR trip last year on a Wednesday in August and the park was very crowded so I image Memorial day weekend wouldn't be any better. That said, the fast lane ticket would make it doable for you. If your interested in the kiddie credits, grab them early. Same with Invertigo. They all get a long line and they were not on the fast lane ticket last season. Have fun!

Definitely Great Adventure, especially if you have a chance to stop at Knoebels.
