  1. Great pics Joey. Those tours look amazing.
  2. ^ As I understand it, the coaster would figure out exactly how much too accelerate/decelerate based on the weight of the car to "fly in formation" with the riders. It would be incredibly precise. The technology required would be very expensive, and I would not want to be one of the programmers working on the software to run that system.
  3. I I like the idea in that it's very unique and would involve some really cool technology, but I can't imagine anyone putting down 50 million bucks for something like this. As mentioned above, something like Superman EFK would cost half as much and gives significant airtime as it is.
  4. Didn't see this posted yet. Interesting concept to say the least. http://www.popsci.com/cars/article/2012-01/zero-gravity-roller-coaster
  5. Travelling to Mexico would definitely make me nervous. Nice looking parks though. Anton goodness!
  6. ^
  7. That looked like an awesome experience. Thanks for sharing!
  8. It's definitely a short layout, but it does pack quite a bit in.
  9. The Back To The Future set alone would make me put down the money for that tour. Awesome pics!
  10. Who the hell saw this coming...Sam Gagner just scored 4 goals and added 4 assists in the game tonight vs the Hawks. 8 Points ties Gretzky and Coffey for the Oilers record for a single game...Wow! He officially has more points in 1 game than Scott Gomez has all season.
  11. ^If I remember correctly, the back and sides of the car are pretty heavily padded and there is some padding in the front as well for your knees. Still managed to bash my knee though.
  12. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=386722 Don't remember hearing anything like this happen before...
  13. Does that ride send you back to Kansas?
  14. I definitely felt that too, but that's part of what makes the Cyclone what it is. At least that's what I feel about it. I'm definitely glad I got down there last year. That being said, I can definitely respect Zamperla's decision here and believe that GCI is the right company for the job.
  15. Dammit! I can't believe I missed the credit!
  16. ^Google translate isn't perfect, but it sounds like some kind of fraud.
  17. 15/20...that's actually kinda scary.
  18. http://www.coaster101.com/2012/01/30/galveston-pleasure-pier-details-revealed/ Uh...yeah, I know the park will likely be open all year round, but isn't that shooting a bit high?
  19. As if you needed any more proof to show that Chara is not human...
  20. Surprised no one has thought of Texas Giant yet. The ride was completely reprofiled and the wood track replaced with steel. The result turned the rough wooden coaster into an amazing steel/hybrid coaster.
  21. ^I was just gonna say that...lol Not surprising that El Toro and T-Express are 1-2.
  22. Unreal...Skip ahead to the 30 second mark on the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_QJcdzb-aY
  23. I would spend more time at Knoebel's and less at Dorney to compensate for it. You'll want re-rides and everything there is awesome!
