Well, They cant be flying off the lots because they're not available yet. All the dealerships have only one TDI, for test driving purpose. I know that I can still get one because I contacted my local VW dealer and I was told that I can still pre-order one and expect to recieve it in September. Are you kidding? Jetta diesels have been around FOREVER! They are most certainly available and have been for pretty much as long as the Jetta has been around. They are flying off the lots, thats why you are pre-ordering one.

A friend of mine has a GS500. Great starter bike, gets 65mpg, and it looks pretty slick as well.

Good luck trying to get a TDi on your first shot. All the dealerships here can't seem to keep them on the lots for more than a few days.

Contradictory? How was I being contradictory? It isn't confirmed because we aren't absolutely, 100%, no-doubt-about-it sure, but we definitely know enough to be fairly certain of what this will be. Allow me to show you. Right here you are saying "It's not confirmed, nobody is saying it is, and whoever is saying that it is is wrong and should leave the thread. THEN: Now you're saying "Well it pretty much is confirmed, so nobody argue that it isn't, because it is". That TOTALLY doubles back on what you said! You say it isnt confirmed, and you're wrong if you think it is, then say that it is pretty much as good as confirmed, so there is no point in arguing otherwise. That is how you were being contradictory.

I would start by just trying to go to ONE park first. I would choose SFGAd as that park as (I think) it is the closest to you. Some of those parks are pretty far away from you, and some far away from each other. Just check out SFGAd first, or BGE maybe, just to cure your fix for now. Plus, you're 13, you have a heck of a long time to go to these parks! You don't have to go to all of them in one summer, spread it out! I give you a lot of credit for wanting to pay for this yourself, but you have to remember you are 13 and either one or both of your parents have to come with you. Some of these parks are pretty far away that you want to go to, and even though you might pay for it yourself, your parents still have to take time off of work, pay their way, etc. Just keep that in mind. Also, don't just assume that because your friend works somewhere you automatically have a job. I wish you the best of luck with this, hopefully it works out.

They are all spoken for, and I can't remember if an American got one or not (I dobut it). It's hard enough to get on the list for a new Ferrari, can't imagine how hard it was to get ahold of one of these.

Im pretty sure this is the exact reason SFGAM removed Trailblazer last year. Something about all of this being down to one bolt that if broken, can cause the vehicle to spin at will. Sad that it had to happen, but atleast nobody died.

^Well, all the Evo's sans the MR had a 5 speed gearbox. I've only driven an MR and never had to put it higher than 4th gear while cruising at 55ish. The gears are taller in the 5 speed, and the engine likes to rev so why not let it. I mean, it makes all of its power/torque at 6800 RPM which is pretty close to its redline. I think if the 5 speeds of the past didn't work, it wouldn't be on the car now.
