I got stuck and was "evacuated" from Expedition Everest in March of 2006 before its grand opening. Here's my quoted experience: When I was young.... haha Here are some pictures from the riveting experience: That's it... Under the mountain! Behind the mountain... Single-file line! Time to go... These two kids were as happy as I was. I was stoked when it happened.

^ Thinking a bit too far ahead I'm afraid. The only people I feel sorry for in this situation is Six Flags and the people who were on the train. That image isn't going to go away for a while. The parents were obviously were not capable of raising a child and teaching them right from wrong.

Update Year 6 Hola! This year will be somewhat of a smaller year for the park. Two new restaurants will open within the park. One next to Palacio Real and the other next to last year's addition, Aventura de Don Quixote. Indoor the Palacio Real restaurant. Mas, pronto!

I played GH for the first time yesterday and I've already bought GH3. I'm hooked on it, I didn't think it'd be this awesome.

Chapter 7 Home We have arrived. The Colony might look different today... ...but it is a vital piece in continuing mankind. We can start over... no communism, no dictatorships, everyone is on equal ground here. Science has come along way, we are slowly turning The Colony into a thriving planet once again. It will take generations to complete, but one day The Colony will once again be similar to Earth. We will have to keep our planet in the best condition that we can. What was once a barren planet known as "Mars"... ...is now our home. The Colony is my home now. I am home.

At least they're getting something. The T:S theme does sound weird but there have been weirder...

^ I filmed about half of it. Originally it was going to be a 4-part movie put into these updates but after editing it was obvious it wasn't working as a movie. I think this will be better.

Chapter 6 The Colony Ends We believe it ended over a period of 24 hours. It must have seemed like a normal day... ...and the night began with a boom. The creatures still remaining must have been caught off-guard. Science has told us that lava began to flow from all directions. Anything in its path was vaporized. These eruptions occured everywhere. Much larger than anything Earth ever experienced. It was probably similar to Earth's demise... everything went up in flames. They believe it continued in a constant flow for hours. I feel sorry for whatever life was left on The Colony. ...so much heat. As time went on... The Colony slowly went dark. The final chapter will be posted on Friday.

Looks like a good place for a horror movie.

Update Year 5 Hola mis amigos! We are at the end of our fifth season! It has been a big one! Mucho verde! Could this be the location of next year's addition? Mas, pronto! The Year 6 announcement will be made on Friday.

Chapter 5 The end is near The Colony continued to flourish. But as time went on... the quality of life began to slowly decline for the creatures that called The Colony home. ...the packs began to slowly fade away. Scientists believe that the plants stuck around for a while longer... allowing for herbivores to continue living. Still, it must have been obvious the lack of animal-life. We believe The Colony stayed like this for another century. As time went on... it must have slowly turned into a "ghost land". As the last of the carnivores died off... things got bad quickly. The Colony began to "sour" so-to-speak. Now the plant life began to fade... slowly succomb to whatever was happening to The Colony. It was like The Colony slowly began to suffocate. Why? No one knows yet... But what soon happened would seal The Colony's fate for millions of years...

Get Smart 9.5/10 Great movie! I couldn't see anybody other than Steve Carell playing the part. I didn't get alot of the tie-ins with the original series (because I've never seen it) but it's not something where you won't "get it" if you've never watched the show. Funny the whole way through.

Chapter 4 What The Colony Was The Colony was a beautiful place. It was probably like heaven compared to the state my home was in when we left. If only it still was like this... Of course, science is telling us it looked like this... ...it could have looked quite different. We've been this is what it looked like, so I am inclined to believe them... I wish I could go back in time... to see the creatures that called The Colony home. I'm sure it was breathtaking. It probably had more flowing water than I've ever seen in my life. With no humans, it was probably a very peaceful place. ...but not for long. Chapter 5 coming soon.

Looks like a good ride, and they seemed to do a great job with the surrounding area.

I recently relaunched my site, Remember Libertyland, with a new layout after a year-long break. The closure and auction of Geauga Lake brought up some memories of Libertyland back in 2006. I am getting photos together for a massive new gallery and I wanted to know if anybody here had any old Libertyland photos that I could use for the gallery. Most of the photos I have are from the 2000's and after the park's closure but I thought it would be good to have some pictures from the '90's and earlier. Thanks.
