Same! Those Aqua Loops look crazy!

I'm curious about the "family-friendly designs." More rides along the lines of Silver Dollar City's Powder Keg would be great (my favorite steel coaster of TPR's Mid-America Trip).

LaQua is a nice place to spend an evening. There are a number of restaurants, and while you're in Tokyo, you may as well check it out.

^I think all they did was take a generic animatronic and dress it up in Ellen drag. I was evaced from this ride the last time I rode it. We made it through the dino room (which is the best part, anyway), but had to be walked out of the section where Willard Scott reports the "weather." At least we were spared watching Bill Nye shill for Exxon (at least I think they were the ride's sponsor back then).

Most comments on sites like You Tube and Yahoo are lamebrained. My favorite in the batch from the Yahoo link was one that described riding the "Phoenix" at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. (Methinks the poster was a wee bit confused.) I was quite happy to see Robb's I-305 footage there. He worked really hard to get that piece of video.

So, what songs were sung? Anything from the Lady Gaga songbook?

^Since Cedar Fair owns the property on which the Dipper sits, I'm guessing that they're not too crazy about random people walking around there clearing brush--too much liability.

^^I watched the new Nightmare and was unimpressed for the same reasons--weak Freddie and the goofy CGI "makeup." I think the lower budget and grittier look of the original movie work in its favor; the quality of the series declined as the budgets increased.

Nights in White Satin was the best thing at Hard Rock Park--nearly as good as the Great Pistolero Roundup.

I'd love to take this tour someday. The "Boo Blasters" may be their bread-and-butter, but they do a lot of other rides, as well. Thanks for the look inside!

^Good thought. I wonder if Moser is prepared to say anything about BGW's Mach Tower. The park promised, in addition to the rotating ascent, more "surprises" at the top of the ride.

The Carnival ship arrived in San Diego. Of course, the phrase "Cruise from Hell" has come into play. Passengers were also relieved that they didn't end up in Ensenada.

I missed the six-foot man eating chicken. Oh, well, . . . I enjoyed Six Flags St. Louis, despite the outrageous heat and humidity that day. Mr. Freeze is the best shuttle coaster this side of the old Schwarzkopf loopers, Evel Knievel is a solid GCI, and the Scooby Doo dark ride is probably the best of the bunch. Next time, I'll have to check out the water park. Great pictures, as usual, Hanno--thanks!

I'd like to see plenty of coverage of dark-ride and waltkthrough stuff, too. I'm looking forward to the updates--they were lots of fun last year.

That was the single best day I've ever spent at Kings Dominion. Finally checked out the water park, when the weather cleared and it got really hot. That lazy river was a lifesaver, and the Tornado slide was insane.

"Some days, you just can't get rid of a bomb!" Wall-E's my favorite Pixar flick, followed by The Incredibles.
