The menus are online for this year's Food and Wine Festival. Many returning favorites, of course; of the new stuff, I'm most intrigued by the Mushi-Gyoza and Ginger and Lemongrass Custard at the Eastern Asia booth.
You can sample Scotch this year, too.
What are other people looking forward to at Food and Wine?
I'm sure a lot of us are still excited for Kong. But of course we also heard rumors and saw construction going on already. This Nintendo announcement was out of nowhere it seems. Plus it's freaking Nintendo. They might as well retheme Kong into Donkey Kong because holy crap that would be awesome.
Yep--it's not like Kong was all that big a secret.
After seeing Orphan Rocker in person back in 2011, and photos of it since, I doubt very much that it is "salvageable." I think Scenic World would be better off starting from scratch.
My problem with the CGI effects is that it feels like I'm just watching a big cartoon. Physical sets and effects help, and animation can be combined effectively with animatronics (the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at the Magic Kingdom is a good example).
That being said, Spider-man is still my favorite ride at Universal, followed by Mummy and Men in Black.
