  1. Maybe they can try it on LaQua's Big O next time.
  2. Is the float sponsored by a local chiropractor?
  3. Young Star Coaster--Chimelong Paradise
  4. ^I think Skyrush is great, too, as the layout really generates (often frightening) airtime.
  5. "Brighton Rock"--Queen
  6. ^You're absolutely right. I remember having my hands up in the air, then reaching for the handles when the airtime kicked in.
  7. ^It's one of the few rides that actually frightened me a bit (particularly during the first half).
  8. Fahrenheit has grown on me. I didn't care for it at first, but it was running very well during the Mini East Coast Trip.
  9. Even is Cobra's Curse is a huge hit and everyone absolutely loves it? And a spinning coaster is something the park doesn't have, so, why not? It's not my favorite type of ride, either, but can be a lot of fun if themed properly (for example, Winjas at Phantasialand).
  10. Wild Mouse--Luna Park (Sydney)
  11. Skyrush was completely insane! Intamin was really pushing the limits with that one.
  12. ^I agree that Ninja looks very frightening and painful, and lives up to the latter. I remember seeing Tennessee Tornado's layout as I topped the lift hill and thinking there's no way this could be any good--yet I was pleasantly surprised at how good it really was.
  13. She was definitely getting a head start on Oktoberfest.
  14. Devil's Britches Red IPA (Highland Brewing in Asheville, NC)
  15. I think Anaconda is a wretched ride with a butt-ugly layout, which makes me consistent.
  16. No such ride. I'll just pass for Q instead of repeating Quicksilver Express. There is such a ride, but at a different park. Nickelodeon Streak is at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. As for "U," let's stick with the UK: Ultimate, The--Lightwater Valley.
  17. I saw Hail, Ceasar, the new Coen brothers' flick, last night and enjoyed it; however, I think knowing a little about what was going on in Hollywood back in the 1950s would improve one's enjoyment of the picture. How many people under the age of 50 would understand a "Norman Taurog/Danny Kaye" joke? Taurog was a director whose career spanned from the 1920s until 1968 (he directed a lot of Elivs Presley movies in the '60s); he also directed Boys Town (nominated for Best Picture in 1938) and worked on The Wizard of Oz. I imagine most of you have a vague idea of who Danny Kaye was.
  18. ^I want to know what's going on under Gerta's desk that's making her giggle so much.
  19. Yes, nothing is more heartwarming than a village that's been abandoned because of a vicious marauding wolf.
  20. Poster 1 I wish I could start a new thread about a wishing game! Poster 2 Granted, but it's been locked for being too much like this existing game thread: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1207602#p1207602. Feel free to play there to your heart's content.
  21. Orkanens Oje--Tivoli Friheden
