^Hmm--not sure I would label it a "fiasco." The park's silence did get a lot of people talking and generated a fair amount of buzz with very little effort. That being said, I'm not sure it was the best approach, and evidently the park doesn't, either.
Hmm--unless someone is privy to inside information, I'm detecting a flaw in their logic.
Cedar Point is removing an Intamin water ride.
Busch Gardens has an Intamin water ride.
Therefore, Busch Gardens is removing their Intamin water ride.
Hoo, boy.
Blue Streak is a perfectly good classic wood coaster. I'm not saying they couldn't benefit from a new generation wood coaster but that's really being overly critical of Blue Streak.
I know this was intended as a joke, but Dorney Park already has a log flume far superior to STR.
The Thunder Creek Mountain revolution is growing.
Thunder Creek is a very good log ride; I agree that it's much better than Shoot the Rapids.
Outside of the drops, I thought Shoot the Rapids was just plain boring. Escape from Pompeii at Busch Gardens Williamsburg is a much better Intamin water ride, with actual theming and good physical effects; hell, Le Scoot at BGW is a better ride than Shoot the Rapids.
I like the Intamin coasters in the park plenty. STR though? Awful. How do you build a log flume that can't float in the 21st century when randoms were able to figure it out in the 1920s?
Same. I love Maverick and Millennium Force, but Shoot the Rapids was terrible.
Dude. Take a freakin' joke. F**k, some of you can be so annoying!
I took the joke. I'm aware he was shilling hard for Budweiser after the game. You, however, need to calm your tits, because you took a statement of fact as a personal attack.
No sense in anyone flying off the handle, please. Thank you.
