Shigiuro Miymoto revealed somthing pretty damn exciting in a recent interview. The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be playable with the revolution controller if you play the game on the console. Awsome stuff! Now they need to market LOZ:TP as a revolution title as much as they do a gamecube title, becuase thats the killer app the new console needs. -

Could It Happen...
Blazen_AZN replied to Sidekick2's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I guess it could be done, but stand-ups need OTSR and i doubt those would be comfortable on a mouse. Also, i think the funnest part about mouse coasters is being able to slide across you seat and slam into your riding partner; if you made a stand up mouse that wouldnt be possible, all you would do is slam into your restraint. A stand up suspended with open cars on the otherhand, would be awsome. -

The Revolution will be my favorite next gen console, hands down. My only concern is the system's power, while truthfully i can careless if my graphics are in high def, graphics are often what people will base their opinions on.... but if the DS is any indaction on how this next generation console war will play out, then the future looks very bright for Nintendo. especially in japan where they embrace innovation. There the DS is outselling the PSP 3-1. One more thing I have to point out is that they ARE making a regular controller for the revolution. The controller will have a slot that you slide the "remote" into. When you do that you have all the conventional buttons and analog sticks from a regular controller, but can still use the special features of the remote. Mark "Nintendo Fanboy" W. -
Yessir, with 400+ songs, it awsome. And yeah, i also have the USB/PS2 cable, with two metal DDR pads. Mark "I can kick your butt in Supercalifragilisticexpealiditious!" W.

Finger Finger Revolution would be really fun. I play it all the time, i just play ddr on my comp and use my keyboard instead of the mat. Its actually really challenging using the up down left and right arrows. and ALOT less tiring. Souds cool on an ipod, but i could make a click wheel more sturdy feeling if it was done, id be afraid to put too much wear on it. and you could just upload songs with steps already on it from itunes, no big deal.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
Blazen_AZN replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Maybe not, but quality does. The GP feel pain too! I wouldn't ride a really painful rollercoaster just because its a rollercoaster, I'd just do somthing else. If, infact, they never rode antoher, better coaster, they would probably think they were all bad and not come back to the parks; I'm sure park owners wouldn't want that. They buy B&Ms for reasons. -
There is no california law about having OTSR, i hear this so often but its not true. Its simply an insurance issue, the less people that get hurt, the better. While the OTSR may be more painful, it doesn't cause actual damage or pain that lasts very long. As long as a person comes off a ride in good physical condition, the park has nothing to worry about. Example: Montezuma's Revenge has Lapbars. Here's what they SHOULD do, attach two seatbelts that connect from the lapbars to the top corners of the seats. Problem solved.

No. Have you ever met a person so ugly you can't stand looking at them?

The chick who sits next to me in scinece class and i started talking about rollercoasters after she saw my sfmm tickets in my wallet. WHen we started talking about Knotts she goes, "OMG boomerang SUUUCKS, it hurts like hell and you bang your head alot..." i thought it was really funny.

You're just TOO BIG to ride!!!
Blazen_AZN replied to SlimCoasterRider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The Manufacturer shouldn't be blamed at all. The fact that people who are too short or skinny can't ride has always been accepted, I don't see why it shouldn't work the other way around for the big people. I have, many times, had friends turned away from Perilous Plunge at Knotts because they were too damn skinny. But that doesn't mean that the people who make the rides shouldn't try to accomidate everyone, they should, aslong as they don't compromise saftey. -
Wow, it sounded like Brokeback Mountain won alot of oscars. It sounds like a great movie. I really want to see it but i don't think saying "hey, lets all go to the gay cowboy movie!" would go over well with my friends... especially if I said it.... Then my secret would be way to obvious... Well, thats what DVDs are for!

Yeah, Im gay.

Vekoma have designed a new launched coaster
Blazen_AZN replied to martinb's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ i hope not, Im all for 10 inversions, but we don't need two of everything, if you're going to make one, atleast put some variety into it. Besides, this ride is just screaming pain. -
Girl: Hey, do you want to get with me? Luxo: Gee, the thing is... I don't really remember if I am straight or not...

^ i think people are forgetting something. SFMM already has the stuff to attract the teens. its like if disneyland decided to install an intamin hyper, the famalies would still go, but the threill seekers would now have a reason to go also. their audience could only get bigger. anyhoo, great podcast! although i did get the feeling robb was trying not to put down sfmm infront of the PR Manager. Im happy to hear some new details also, like the fact that skytower WILL reopen, and when they plan tatsu to be open. (Nice update too). -

Celebrities and Athletes you've met...
Blazen_AZN replied to SixFlagsTexas's topic in Random, Random, Random
How could i forget this girl? Rachael Ray! And some not-exactly-famous people, but who are still worth noting are about 5 past Miss Californias, one Miss Teen USA and one Miss California Teen USA. They're all SUPER nice and fun to talk to! (My sis was Miss Los Angeles Teen USA so i've been to quite a few pagents.) -
Wow. I love the commercial. Very funny and only slightly disturbing. Then again, the Micro IS pretty sexy.

I was Reading though Elissa's "Elissa meets another clebrity!" topic and thought i should bring back this thread. Anyhoo, I've never approached one, (i always thought if i were them i'd rather be left alone) but so far I've seen... Method Man and Red Man at SFMM, Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachay, George Lopez Justin Guarini Some other random American Idol people whose names i forgot Frankie Muniz Lea Solonga Cobi Jones Thats probably not all of them, but it's all i can think of... The only time i talked to one was with Cobi Jones (LA Galaxy [sOCCER!]) and I didn't even realive who he was at the time. I was sitting on a couch in the lobby of a hotel in Palm Springs when he came and sat next to me. He asks why i was there and stuff like that and after a few minutes he leaves. I didn't realize who he even was until i went back to my room and started wathing the Miss USA pagent that was being held that day in Palm Springs. when they were announcing the judges they showed him, and said who he was and i nearly choked. -

Blazen_AZN replied to sfmmFREAK's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You have to make sure the brake section is long enough to hold the entire train, or make sure the train stops before the launch track. If it doesn't the two compete, the brakes trying to slow the train, and the launch trying to move it, the launch usually wins. I THINK (i don't have NL anymore, my comp crashed and i had to reinstall windows) you can set a launch right out of the brakes, so it launches into the launch track that will continue the launch. -
