  1. They're called "Republicans"*. * I put "Republicans" in quotes because the modern Republican party has absolutely nothing to do with the ideals the party was founded on, represented by such great men as Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt, and who, in the times of those great men, my family voted for near-religiously. Of course, that's an entirely different debate.
  2. Yeah, what's with all those crazy idiots who go to Tokyo Disney Sea??? Tokyo Disney Sea is part of the Tokyo Disney Resort which does have a flume, so I consider it to have a flume!
  3. "Backyards" by Broken Social Scene, from "Bee hives."
  4. Like a new flume!?!? As I said over at the CoasterFanatics website, "No flume, no me!" What kind of park doesn't have a flume?!?! Not one any sane person would visit! Stupid Cedar Point!
  5. Well, I suppose they do count, but I still say that there would be less deaths if that's all people had to use!
  6. That POV shows a very smooth ride, actually. Looks like it was shot with a steady cam, or something! Very clear, smooth, POV. Wonderful! Looks fun! Anyways, I don't really mind rough rides, and I've been on a few listed here! The real trick is to not fight it! Just go with the flow, and let the ride beat you up! It's fun!
  7. Stricter gun laws don't necessarily have an effect on the availability of guns. There's a lot more to it than that, really. Also, there are more ways to kill somebody with a gun. People don't kill people, people with guns, and various other weapons, kill people. I think we can safely say that somebody who purchases a gun for deer hunting are not going to be committing violence against another human, unless they feel they absolutely have to. That's not the point. The point is that we have to get the guns out of the hands of people who won't be using them for deer hunting, which means being tougher about them all around. Furthermore, Wisconsin does have murders / robberies / carjackings / etc.
  8. I agree with CoasterLou. The most violent devoloped country on earth, according to a recent investigation by the UN, is the UK. However, it's mostly fist and knife fights, many of which go unreported, and few of which cause severe injury. I think if you gave those same violent people guns, like they have in the US, their gun violence statistics would soar well past ours! I feel it is simply far too easy to obtain a gun in the US.
  9. I'm guessing it's probably a Force Zero model from Zerier, like Shamu Express at Sea World San Antonio. Or maybe it will be the state's 5th Rollerskater? Why can't they give us more details?
  10. Well, if it isn't Cedar Fair, then it's Dan Snyder, and either way, you're going to lose Looney Toons! Isn't it better to have them replaced with Snoopy, than with cellphone sales men?!?!
  11. I really love the one Premier ride I've been on (The Revenge Of The Mummy), and the other ones all look really amazing, to me. I'm glad they're getting to build more stuff! There rides are, at the very least, different! Not like, say, B&M where once you know the formula, you know what's going to happen with 99% certainty! That's boring. Premier looks to be building the kind of rides where no matter how many times you ride you never know what's going to happen next! I like that. This coaster certainly doesn't seem to use really use Premier's full capabilities, but they already have one which does (Flight of Fear), and it looks like it will be a lot of fun, regardless! While it isn't anything amazing, I think it will probably be more than just another credit.
  12. Well, to me, having never been to either a Cedar Fair or a Six Flags park, Cedar Fair always seemed like "the nicer Six Flags". So, maybe it would be a good thing if they took over, or maybe it would just turn them into Six Flags, with all the same problems, only now at all the Cedar Fair parks, too. I don't know. Either way, though, neither chain really appeals to me much. They just don't seem to have any character.
  13. Nope. I was having lots of problems yesterday, particularly towards the end of the day, but today they're all gone. I haven't seen any improvements, either, though. Just running the way it always has, for me.
  14. I was going to buy it, but looking over my finances, it was either the DVDs or Disney World. Not much of a choice there, eh? I might buy them later this month, or next month. We'll see!
  15. I think that's about the only thing I really love about Florida, except for the themeparks. I actually just thought of a few other thousand things I love about Florida while writing that. It's wierd. I always feel like I hate this place, but there's a lot of awesome stuff! Oh, yeah, right, the weather... Extreme weather is wonderful. It may rip your roof off, but it has something to it that is really enjoyable for me, even comforting in a wierd way. I love it. That picture is amazing.
  16. Fantasia Special, Canyon Blaster, Big Dipper, Rollercoaster, and, especially, Tennesee Tornado, and X. Also, more Arrow coasters have the issue because of their poorly designed layouts and vehicles, because they're old, and because they're often poorely mantained.
  17. Sorry for the double post, but I've been looking for Jungleland, and, as far as I can tell, it doesn't exist! I mean it! Not even the city's official tourism site knows about it! There's only 3 options as far as I can tell: 1. It really doesn't exist. 2. It does exist, under a different name. 3. It does exist, but it's extremely obscure, even for the Japanese who live in the same city! Assuming number 2 is correct, I have a lead. The cities official tourism site does mention a zoo, with a themepark! Only it gives a dead link. I looked up the Zoo itself, and I can find a lot of sites which mention it, but none which mentions anything about it, or a link to it. So... Yeah. I like finding obscure things on the internet, but this doesn't seem to be going anywhere!
  18. There are rough B&Ms, and other coasters with the same basic track and train style as B&M. There are also smooth Arrow coasters, and other coasters with the same basic track and train style as Arrow. That isn't the issue, really. I think the biggest issues with rougness on a coaster are the design of the track layout, the vehicles (wheel assemblies, and restraints / seating especially), and the support structure, along with mantenience. Also, while Drachen Fire didn't fit the typical Arrow mold, neither did a lot of their coasters, including all of their custom loopers made after Drachen Fire!
  19. Okay, so I was right. The coaster this topic is about is at the Kidland park I posted the link to. The coaster at Jungleland is a different Togo looping mouse. That's where the confusion is. I guess these things aren't so rare after all! It seems like every Zoo in Japan has one (Kidland park is at a Zoo, too)!
  20. That link is to the one this topic is about, as far as I can tell. The website says it's located at "National Kid Land" in Sapporo, so... Here's an English version of the site I found, if anyones interested: http://www.sapporo-dc.co.jp/eng/kidland/index.html
  21. It's not like they can help it, really. Not everyone is a massive dork, and not every massive dork is massively dorky about rollercoasters!
  22. 1. People complaining about the silliest things ("Slow lines", etc)! Although, I do agree about the stealing of seats, and not allowing rerides. I'd also like to add not allowing you to chose your seat!
  23. http://www.sapporo-dc.co.jp/kidland/index.html
  24. In a way, these crazy little Gerstlaur coasters excite me more than most massive B&Ms. They're just so wierd, and twisty!
