  1. Sorry if this has been explained in the past pages of posts. I understand that the queue travels through the castle and the greenhouse. Is there an overflow queue outside (like for Spiderman) for when it gets crazy busy? Or is the entire line inside?
  2. Looks like there will be a T.V. special on NBC on the Making of TWWOHP. https://www.nbcumv.com/mv/#1274992073430 Type "Harry Potter" in the search box to get the below press release. 3. Wreckage at the end of Lost explained: http://popwatch.ew.com/2010/05/26/lost-final-scenes-wreckage/
  4. Tonight's the big night! Hopefully our 6-year journey will come to a good ending.
  5. This looks like a fantastic addition to the park - I can't wait to experience it someday. Thanks for the report - good job!
  6. More importantly, Firefly and Serenity!!! (there needs to be a nerd smilie) Even more important than that - Buffy The Vampire Slayer! The musical episode, "Once More With Feeling" is one of my all time favorite Buffy episodes!
  7. ^ I have always wondered why they didn't do anything with that space. I remember they originally built that exhibit area to house the Pandas from China from 1987-1988, then the Koalas moved in. Over the years it was used a few times as a haunt for HOS. A friend of mine said that it is now used for storage. Maybe this area will now house the new animal exhibits.
  8. ^Agreed, May, September and January are the slowest times for Florida. Also the first 3 weeks in December are pretty dead.
  9. I'm not a big musical kind of guy, but when I watched it with the GF it wasn't that bad. For Busch, it definitely had some production value to it. Any word on a replacement? I have heard a rumor that they are replacing Katonga with another ice show. Before Katonga, the Moroccan Palace housed 3 different ice shows. So it is possible.
  10. Sue to Molly Shannon's character: "I'll kick you square in the taco" I almost choked on the chips I was eating! That was the best line ever!
  11. Lynn Redgrave died yesterday at the age of 67. http://www.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/Movies/05/03/lynn.redgrave.obit/index.html?hpt=T3 I remember seeing her as a guest star on many shows growing up and her roll on the Showtime show "Rude Awakening". And more recently her role in the film "Gods and Monsters".
  12. Today was kind of yucky. But when I went to the park yesterday (Sat.) it was really gorgeous out, a little bit hot though. I agree with you about the ride wait times that were texted. I was only texted maybe about 2 times (an hour between texts) about the ride waits. In that case, I don't think it worked very well. But it is brand new, so I'm guessing that after guests feedback they will hopefully improve.
  13. I stopped by the park yesterday to check to see if there was any progress on the 2011 project. I also checked out the new texting app. The scavenger hunt was pretty good, kind of like a mini Amazing Race. The only problem I see with the texting app is that if I wanted to see how long the waits were for the rides, I had to finish the scavenger hunt before starting another app. The scavenger hunt made me excited about trying the Kim Possible Mission at Epcot on a future visit. Onto the photos. I wonder if this view from the parking lot will change in the future? During construction, is this the possible future area for the walkway that will transport guests from The Moroccan Palace area to Egypt? We will have to see if construction walls go up here soon. Maybe guests will bypass most of Crown Colony and re-enter the park through this gate? The Moroccan Palace area may have a different look in the future. Heading towards Crown Colony. The Sky ride and possible new coaster station is on the left. An area for the possible track transfer between the Sky Ride station and old monorail/new coaster station. Could one of the rumored launch sections be out of the station? The old Clydesdale Hamlet with the Sky Ride & old monorail/rumored coaster station in the background. Sky Ride & old monorail/rumored coaster station. Entrance to the Sky Ride & old monorail/rumored coaster station. Thought I would take a few photos of the current Sky Ride entrance and inside the old monorail/rumored coaster station. Old monorail boarding station. Old monorail boarding station. Work on the train tracks between the Monorail/Sky Ride station and the Edge of Africa. Back to the Moroccan Palace area heading towards Narobi, complete with new construction walls. Walls in Narobi! Construction on the railroad. Narobi train station's tracks are gone! Looking back to the sky ride station - Crown Colony area from Rhino Rally. Should be interesting to see how this area of the park changes over the next year. Thanks for reading!
  14. ^ Robb - sent you a pm. If you need me, you can count on me. I can go to the park at least once a week or every 2 weeks for regular photo updates.
  15. Spoiler for East Coasts Losties: ^ I thought the same thing, I was cringing when they were running towards each other, I thought for sure they would get fried! Overall tonight's episode wasn't one of my favorites. Still entertaining. I'm looking forward to wrapping up the show, it's time for the show to come to a close.
  16. ^ lol - I love the random stuff that comes out of Brittany's mouth! "Your Mr. Shue's Son"? I also love how Sue said she was 6 when True Blue came out. It was a fun episode!
  17. ^Bill, I love that edition of TV guide! I can't wait for tonight's episode! I already downloaded the mini album "The Music, The Power of Madonna" last night. It is awesome! Love their rendition of "What it Feels Like For A Girl". Maybe I'm a bad judge considering it's the cast of Glee doing M songs! Madonna+Glee= 2 things I love! Tonight's episode should rock!
  18. Great trip report Erik, looks like the park is on the right track. It will be really awesome once the newly planted trees fill in. The tiger shots were great!
  19. I enjoyed tonight's episode, glad to see some familiar faces.
  20. Thanks John for posting the video. I'm not sure what to think of it. Hopefully either this weekend or the next I'll make it up to check it out.
  21. I finally have some time to bring back this thread. This week I'll be be posting brochures from Sea World starting tonight with some early ones from the 70's and early 80's. Enjoy! 22. Was at the park yesterday. We just wanted to check out the animals and enjoy the gorgeous day. And being that it was spring break, as expected the park was packed! We walked through Sesame Street Safari of Fun and it was especially packed! Air Grover's entire queue was full, about a 45 minute wait. Looks like the area is a big hit!
  23. Agreed. The desert area looks ok, the part I don't like is the plain wooden fence surrounds the back of the coaster, kind of boring.
  24. I thought Bert and Ernie underwater scene with the bubbles was quite effective.
  25. I kind of agree - I think along with the new coaster they could of added at least 1 new ride. But I think the new area is fine. If anything I can see the parents noticing the re-theme more than the kids. All the kids I saw seemed pretty happy. And remember, Jungala was only added a couple of years ago, which was an entirely new family area.
