^Just for the I got that from a website not-affilated with the park... someone did that in their spare time... but to answer your question quite a few parks use rides from other parks in their advertisements and promo material. I was just pointing out what the ride's full color scheme will look like once finished... LOL But the ride looks like its making great progress with the lifts already up. Don't see why Memorial Day isn't an option.

^ Yes, I'm with you on that... I don't think they need one... but it seems they wouldn't have build a single flight arch and not a dual flight arch. SFNE has an arch but just one flight tower that is perfectly centered. I just figure they are leaving the possibility open. So if they did... I just figured the method I described in my prior post would be the most feasible way to add an additional flight line (and personally think it would be pretty cool). But I agree, the 300ft skycoaster in kissimmee has almost never had more than 2 flights ahead of me when I've gone.

Question... About the skycoaster... I know we have discussed the reason behind there not being a second tower (the go carts track addition) and how how it kind of looks odd (un-symetrical) to have one tower learning to the side... but could Fun Spot in the future build a second tower on the opposite side of the arch way (leaning to the other side). It would probably stick out of lake. But could they technically do such? In this set up they could take two groups of flyers, raise them up, 3-2-1 Fly and have them dive towards each other... creating a near miss (although they would be plenty of space between to two swings). Thoughts? For those who have been on the site is that possible or are they other rides on that side of the arch which would prevent that from happening.

I agree, and I hope the Timberliners don't end up destroying the track as much as PTCs. Lets face it though, no matter what king of trains you have the parks needs to maintain the ride. If they don't then all of this is in vain. I'm particularly hoping the retrack the bottom of the first drop and the stentch in the tunnel as it was pretty rough. Even moreso, they need to re-track the whole turnaround area thats inside the park on the return run. That part of the ride is pure HELL. P.S. more pictures from the Mount Olympus facebook

I congratulate SFM. This is a great family attraction and I love the attention to detail on the theme. Especially the queue line and the circus element. Awesome. Also it looks like they have modified the station to making a continuous moving/loading station. Did Big Spin have the same system at SFDK? See this video Another Media video from a local station. They have had Platinum options before when I visited.

New picture update Looks like they are switching to steel cross braces for the inversion instead of wooden cross braces for extra strength. Notice how the cross braces seem to switch back to wood during the exit of the inversion. Yet they will keep all the layers of the track wood, not replace the last two layers like RMC. This is getting interesting because I was curious how GG was going to pull this off.

I would love it to come to SFA as it has zero inverting flat rides. Unlike other six flags parks.

Personally, I dont think a park the size of SFMM should put a ride in that can't achieve at least 1000 pph. However, given the massive amount of coasters that are available to guests. I feel like they can get away with it to some degree just because of the sheet amount of options available to guests. Whereas at small parks, its almost vital that their one or two major rides can handle a bunch of people as there a less rides available per guest. It would be great is every coaster was a people eater. Just depends on how much money the park/company wants to spend.
