^That's actually an interesting idea. I have a strobe light sitting in my room unused. I'm going to give that a try. I used a Canon 20D, with the flash.

I took some (kinda) long exposure shots of spinning coins, this one is my favorite. What do you think?

Although I'm not really a fan of Apple the company, I am a huge fan of Steve Jobs. Without his push for innovation, our lives would truly be different. It's quite sad that our world lost such a brilliant mind at such a young age

I tend to have really disappointing dreams, I remember a few where we had been planning a vacation for a long time, we were finally all ready to go, and when we got to the airport, the flight had crashed and we had to wait to fly. Then the dream ends and we never have fun. And there was one where me and my friends were at a theme park's opening gates, getting ready and pumped to go in and ride the rides, then the manager comes out and tells us that the park is closed for the day. Sad dreams But usually if my dream isn't disappointing, it will be really glorious adventuring and cool stuff in general.

I just upgraded my myTouch 3g Slide To an HTC HD2. I got it off Craigslist for a great price. It may be an older phone, but it has the same specs as all the newer phones (Thunderbolt, EVO 4g, iPhone 4 and probably even the iPhone 5, Galaxy S I etc.) This phone was truly ahead of it's time and while it may run windows mobile 6.5, it's really easy to put Android or even WP7 on it (I'm working on getting Android on it now). So far I think it's great and I love having the huge screen.

Ahhh so frustrated. A few days ago I slept like absolute shit, so I overslept a bit and missed 1st period. For some reason, my mother thinks that missing 1st period is the end of the world. After she got off of work, she drove to my dad's house and went off on me, saying that she won't pay for my college, she's not going to get me a car, she's never going to take me on vacation, I'm going to end up being a loser, how she's going to have to start drug testing me, how she hates lazy people, and how I'm never going to succeed in my life. For missing one period. I don't get it. It's even worse because I'm doing so well so far this year, I've maintained a 4.5 GPA through the year (in 6 honor/ap classes) so far, where as last year by this time I was already failing a class and struggling to catch up. It's incredibly unnecessary to blow up and ruin your whole day because your son missed a class (that I have an A+ in) one day.

^^ It's actually funny, after I loaded those pictures onto my computer, I had looked at a few and thought the same thing. I haven't have the opportunity to experiment that much, but I'll take your advice, thanks!

I've always loved the out of focus "bokeh" photography, and since I always can see a great fireworks show from my house every friday, I decided to try to get some of my own. Flower :3

So as it turns out AP us history and Algebra 3/4 actually aren't that hard, and I'm not alone in my Spanish 5/6 H class, as a few other sophomores are in it too Plus I know some of the juniors/seniors. And the teacher is really fun, so sophomore year is looking to be really good year! Plus forensics is starting soon, I'm going to do extemp and CX debate

Felt an earthquake last night, I can now cross that off my bucket list

^^^ Damn, that sucks. at my school as a sophomore the only AP class you take take is US history, and my parents are happy that I'm taking it Have you tried just talking to them about it and telling them that you feel this is unfair?

Just saw the video, all I can say is WOW! That thing looks amazing! I *loved* Tatsu but this looks like it could beat it. It's also nice to see B&M trying new things, such as the 540* roll and the vertical loop and the lying down section, amazing. Too bad I'll probably never be able to ride it, but hopefully B&M will bring these things stateside!

Was at Goodwill today, found a die cutting machine for 10 bucks, bought it and sold it on ebay for 200 One of my best thrift store finds yet!

^ Yeah, I got lucky. If I were you, I'd put that Nikon on Craigslist and see what you can get for it, and scour eBay constantly, you never know what might turn up! Good luck!

^ You can fetch around 200$ for an old SLR on craigslist, a lot of the older professional shooters don't want to move up to a Digital SLR. Also, if you're looking to get a DSLR, you can always look on eBay, I managed to snag a Canon 20D for 300$ with 2 lenses, it may be older, but for 300$ you can't really beat it. Right now I use a Nikon CoolPix s560. It's 10MP and takes really good shots for its size. I use it for trips and parks or anywhere I know I'm gonna take pictures. When I need a camera anywhere else, I just use my smartphone, a myTouch 3g Slide. It's 5 megapixels (though megapixels don't really matter at all) and it takes good photos, though it manages to take bad photos every once in a while. I really only use it at school or for Facebook mobile uploads. That's all it was really meant for anyway. But I'm so stoked for my Canon EOS 20D to come in the mail! I can't wait to delve into artistic photography
