  1. I like it, do the three towers connect? Also, it would help if you turned down the sketch a little.
  2. I got bored. SCR17.BMP Mine Train Mountain! Has a 5 train block system and a top speed of 53 MPH.
  3. Give that mine train more themeing. Also, raise the last turn off the ground by one, as of now it looks as if it's just resting on ground, nt being supported. One more thing. Tha should say 1987 if anything. This is a style that was more that era, and all the rides fit in closer to that time period anyway. I'd change the date.
  4. As much as people don't like the idea of audio on a boomerang, I actually think it works pretty well, even if it's a short ride.
  5. Zacspins look like fantastic rides! I can't wait to ride Green Lantern this summer! Using Q-bots of course!
  6. Funny how we were just talking about this yesterday! Great to hear that Lynx lives on!
  7. Wait, so am I no longer a team Captain?
  8. To add on to what my friend above me said, a Windseeker is a very tall and visually appealing ride (as are all star flyers). The general public would eat that up, and it would also be a kick in the face to SFDK, who is installing Skyscreamer, a traditional Starflyer this year. it's a win-win, though due to height constraints, I don't think it would be 310 ft. Hmmmm compact compact compact. Olympia Looping is compact, Balder is pretty compact, Deja-Vu is compact, INVERTIGO was compact. Anything at Grona Lund is compact! And they have a kick ass Intamin ZacSpin which, is also, COMPACT. Just because a ride is compact, doenst mean it stinks sheesh. And for the FINAL time. CGA IS NOT GETTING A 20 MILLION DOLLAR MAVERICK CLONE!
  9. Oh keep them detailed! I was commenting that your park had a huge amount of scenery.
  10. So what happened with the team I chose?
  11. Alright everyone! Here is the results from the Intamin Challenge! Tiger01: I noticed that your woodie was heavily inspired by El Toro, but there are a few issues: The diorama style park you went for can work, the the excecution was poor.I also would have liked to see you use a bigger area. Mainly the terrain issues with your park. Also, make your buildings jump out more, they were a bit plain. Yamez: Woah! I have never had a park that took over a minute to load on this computer, absolutely massive! Buildings were amazing! Only a few things I nitpick at: After all that amazing work...what up with the completey unthemed aquarium? That, and the coaster's launch a little on the abrupt side but that's fine. And the winner is: Keep Scrolling I'm making you guys work for it Almost there... And the winner is: YAMEZ Congrats to Yamez and his park, the Trials of Atlantis! Beatifuly done! If you are just joining us, here are the downloads for both parks: 899_Atlantis-Release.dat Trials of Atlantis intamin_competition_entry__tiger01_.dat Outlaw Intamin Woodie Thanks for playing!
  12. Too bad we all know how that one ends. As for future expansions, maybe a Dark Knight Indoor Mouse, with better theming. Or maybe another good dark ride?
  13. I find the fact that they demolished so much funny, because when I interviewed Beth Chee, media rep of Legoland CA, she mentioned how they were trying to preserve the classic attractions at Cypress...Or at least try and make sure te park still has a Cypress feel ... We can see how well that worked out. I am kind of excited/annoyed by Legoland Florida though...for this reason: Universal Studios Hollywood-Universal Studios Orlando & Islands of Adventure Sea World San Diego-Sea World Orlando Disneyland-DisneyWorld Bucsh Gardens Van Nuys-Bucsh Gardens Tampa Legoland California-Legoland Florida Original In California-Florida Version, better in all respects They take every concept California has, and then if it works, transport it to a Florida Version! What the heck is up with that?
  14. Make room for an upcoming ride at CGA? Is ValleyFair confirming that it WILL be a ride by saying this and how would they know? Why would they spill the beans if CGA hasn't announced anything yet? Hmm...seems a bit odd. If that was an accidental leak of info, it was a pretty big oops. I hope something impressive replaces Invertigo but, Im not getting my hopes up. At all. Actually I'm lowering them. Lower. And lower. And then raising them back to where they were before. At least I'm pretty sure it won't be a twenty million dollar Maverick clone
  15. What was the point of making that a double post? ^ Anyway, regardless of what people consider this ride to be, B&M is doing something Different, which is something we rarely see, so I think we should all be happy... Those trains look amazing!
  16. Yeah, since when does a company Refuse to do a project? It just seems a little weird to me....I really hope B&M hasn't developed some kind of snobbish attitude towards theme park corporations... You think they would want work in the tough economic times. Anyone else find it weird that both of Universal's Hollywood themed coasters aren't in Hollywood? Hollywood Dream Clone for USH please! (Before you start bashing me, yes I realize this will never happen.)
  17. I have something in could do for this, count me in...
  18. Disney never ceases to amaze me.... never before in my life have I even considered going on a cruise, but now, I MUST get on the Disney Dream!
  19. Team NCS FTW! Lol, anyway, can't wait to hear the team capitians!
  20. Part of the website is calling it that. The main ad for the new ride on the home site still just calls it Green Lantern. I also clicked on the '30 Family Friendly Rides' link to see how they were claiming that as I did thorough research for my last KidTums' Korner article and it was no where close to that. Clicking led me to a page with 16 rides. Giving the benefit of the doubt I then also clicked on Kids Rides, but that only resulted in nine more. Then I noticed this gem "Six Flags Magic Mountain has more family friendly rides than any other theme park in Southern California!" What's that SNL skit again...REALLY!?!? As far as I know, nearly all the rides at Legoland are kid friendly, and that's like 40 rides!
  21. Those pictures made my day! I can't wait to see this beast in action!
  22. Thanks everyone! It really was a cool experience! I can't wait to see what Legoland has in store for us next year!
  23. Yeah, it was the first time I've done something like that and we were short on time...plus I forgot the wireless mic at home so you couldn't hear us as well...
