  1. ^ With Elissa and Robb as parents, just be glad she wasn't tall enough to ride ALL of the coasters at the parks she's been to! Nice report! The ride's looking awesome, and looks like a great addition to the park! Also, is the scenery (Rocks, cacti, etc.) original or is it from SF New Orleans?
  2. ^ That looks great! It kind of reminds me of Afterburner @ Carowinds. Nice job so far!
  3. This is nice! Your other rides have been great, so I can't wait to download this one! Hope the station work comes through soon!
  4. The only thing I despise about the new cars are the arm "nets" on the sides. They're a lot more restrictive than I would have liked. Oh well! I've always been partial to these in FL and CA: Soarin'!!
  5. ^ and ^^ I guess I'm just not a big fan of bright orange track, but hey, it's his park, and whatever he likes he can implement. I dunno, maybe I'm just a little weird.
  6. This is great! I especially like the corkscrew coaster, but you may want to consider a different color for the its track. Otherwise, great job and keep some updates coming!
  7. The only thing I wonder is: How long will it last? With the final movie premiering in a month, and no sequels (Movie or Books) planned, when will the popularity run out? The series is cool and all, but I'm not sure the popularity will be as sustaining as say, Jurassic Park. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but in 10 years, I don't think I'll be looking back at the HP movies and saying, "OMG, those movies were incredible!"
  8. ^^^ SFMM is used to some rain, so the rides don't shut down in a drizzle. I have even been on Colossus when it's hailing, pouring, and 50 Degrees outside (Hurt like hell, BTW)! That was only when it started pouring DURING the ride. Normally, almost all of the rides shut down when it's pouring.
  9. I was digging through some old TR's of Hanno's from Cedar Pt. back in 07', and look who I found! these CP freaks must be truly obsessed, great photo ops, or both! he even has the same hat!!
  10. ^ I think once they stick a few ACE'rs in the back row, when they add new benches, It'll feel exactly like it always has! Overall, I do hope thay actually add a final row. Termy could always use a little capacity boost!
  11. Revolution @ SFMM. Awesome ride layout squandered by the WORST RESTRAINTS EVER!! (Although the 1000+ credit-lovers on this forum can list off plenty worse )
  12. Hey Real, the Facebook page isn't really working, and I'd love to see more Cedar Fair Crappiness!! Could you post more on this page? Or fix the link (Unless it's just my stupid computer)?
  13. I think Green Lantern will probably have an up-charge early on. The park will probably play it by ear from then on if it becomes as popular as X2 (I doubt it) and they will need to keep an upcharge. That's just my guess...
  14. Great job, these were awesome to watch! Just curious, what changes did you make to Screamroller for the "1980 version" ? Overall, I really wish I could have seen these in person!
  15. My sister and I love going in the kids' areas of parks and screaming at the TOP OF OUR LUNGS. You get the best reactions ever! i.e: My sister and I went on Barnstormer at WDW last summer and screamed (I can do an impressively loud and accurate 5 year old girl scream ) and the little 8 year olds in the front row turned around and gave us a stare for 6-7 seconds just staring at us like as if they were saying "are you even human?" it was the highlight of the trip, up there with riding Expedition Everest (my fav at WDW) 12 times in one day, even with a 70 min. Stand by!! Thank you Single Rider!
  16. Maybe it's just me, but I don't really see Rocky Mt. redoing Colossus. I'm sure they could, and it would be awesome, but the Tx Giant structure gave them more freedom to expand the layout. Colossus, on the other hand has a standard layout that would be more difficult to expand with the crazy overbanks and airtime hills that NTAG (did I get the acronym right?) has. That's just my opinion. Who knows? Maybe they'll surprise me.
  17. ^ That's what Flash Passes are for (If they offer them ).
  18. Then I guess the real question is: Which direction will the line take when it overflows onto the main pathway?
  19. I'm guessing it'll be set up with the line heading out towards Batman's first loop and Zero-G-Roll. There seems to be next to no room towards Tidal Wave, if my memory serves me correctly from WCB.
  20. ^Oops, missed that one. It's sad, because I've been on it, too...
  21. Poor Vekoma... Highest rated ride: #91, Expedition Everest. Lowest rated ride: #341, Goudurix (2nd lowest).
  22. Well, good news for Green Lantern @ SFMM: Grona Lund's Insane was rated #41! And X2 finally topped Tatsu as the highest rated SFMM coaster! Yay for 4th dimensions!!
  23. ^ Just imagining the monotony that I would experience in that line would drive me mad!! Even with a book or DS, I would be bored to tears...
  24. ^ It's funny, people spend 7-8 hrs in a park (paying full price) to spend 3 and a half of those precious hours in line for one ride!! That's why you wait till late season to visit, and get in a 30 min wait, then don't worry about it the rest of the day while you laugh at the pathetic people waiting in line. Okay, maybe that's just me, but you get the point!
