  1. It's a vertical drop coaster, mainly used for capacity issues, but it also looks more like the mine carts, while the floorless cars don't suffice that need. And yes, Euro fighter based loosely on mystery mine. Anyways, something new from me, well, somewhat! Standing 325 feet amongst the mountainous backdrop, The Observation Deck gives the most majestic shots of the lake, and the surrounding park that accompanies the beautiful landscape that it is built on. *of course with a small fee, that is. . .
  2. ^ 2-3, depending on the block system, but I must admit, that turn after the 2 loops is not the best transitions. try maybe a banked 180 that isn't flat.
  3. Yup, it's up, though, it looked like today the ride had a faulty sensor or something like that, because when I was at the park, Xcelerator was down with a mechanic on the 180 turn catwalk holding a sensor. It took about 30 minutes or so. AND... Windseeker has gone airborne today! Sadly, no pictures..
  4. Well I'm sure today there are a few ACEers that will be disappointed to know that their ERT is canceled for tonight. I might as well go check out the park today, considering I'm sure the early morning rain scared some people away.
  5. Techno Dude resides over at Shy guys World for the most part. Go ask him over there. But considering that the links are from a media sharing site, it would be down over there, too. Your best bet would to ask him--that's about it. and no need to double post, by the way.
  6. I can see why the commercial is coming up though, because you can get nice and close to the ride now. The new sign: And with the new pavement opened, (behind the Carousel.) it gives you new open areas for shots of Silver Bullet: And to who asked about congestion, there is a lot of open room now, so it got rid of that condense feeling--just a bit.
  7. I can assure you that just because some thing is attacking does not mean it isn't constructive. Every comment I've seen that says "You could do better/It would be better if you..." are all constructive and it's up to the builder if they want to listen to it. Have you seen the elongated reviews Dotrobot posts on nearly every one of my screens? It can be harsh sometimes, but there is no way one could think that to be non-constructive....as with all the other "crossovers". Very well said, Jake. Both sites have their ways of criticism, but it's up to the builder's discretion to take it or not. Had I not taken some, My first park here would not be where it stands now (almost finished, by the way) without the push from both sites, so I don't see why both communities can't coexist together.
  8. in my mind, if I were to advertise my work over here, and not show a screen at all over at NE, and enlist to there service without at least being an "active" member, I find that at least unfair to ask people who don't know me to make a write-up for my park, and a nice, professional logo. It's like being a loyal customer for one place, and then secretly obtaining the same service, that is better, but never become a loyal customer after such events. Personally, I don't see what's so wrong with it, because like Rob said, after it is released, I am able to do what ever I please to do with my work. It might take time, but at least it will be shared in due time. Are they elitist over there? Not really, but all sites have there ego minded folks. The ego over there comes from the criticism, and trust me, without it, it wouldn't push me to try new things and do better!
  9. ^Are you choosing the paypal option? If you are, the coupon will not pay for all the purchase, given the fee that paypal has. Select the "check" option, and see what that does.
  10. The 23rd wouldn't be crowded in the morning, because school is back in action. For the most part it should be quite dead, actually. Personally, I think visiting Knott's in the mornings in September/October are the best days to go for a day to marathon coasters. Last year, the event was a day and night event, I believe. (correct me if I'm wrong for those that went.)
  11. Testing most likely will be started soon, considering there is an ACE event on the 31st that has Windseeker ERT scheduled so long as it's operational. Doubt it will be opened that early, though.
  12. That's gorgeous--no need for hastily deletion! Why haven't you shown this at NE?
  13. Although your corkscrews go the right way, the aesthetic value of it is lost. A recreation is a trial of compromise rather then actual looks at times, because how can you with a game that has limitations?
  14. Any better? By the way, the little bikes move around to represent animals.
  15. You'll need to use parkdat in order to introduce these new attractions into a saved game. Parkdat, and also other useful RCT2 utilities can be found here.
  16. QFT. The "drop" back then was amazing, but now that it is neutered, it doesn't pack as much of a punch. Anyways, for the few coasters I have ridden: Desperado always has ball crushing airtime Xcelerator's top hat in the front also i very nice Ghost rider in the back in it's "prime" days California Screaming before it got neutered as well. Man, I need to travel more!
  17. This coaster goes great for any beach side resort: A small, compact floorless taking it's inspiration from the Real Dark Knight Coaster, and any BTR clone. *Notes: The ride do not appear as they look above due to these only being the track files.
  18. You know, after looking at some of the replies in the thread, and the amount of activity, I've been thinking to myself "Hey, why not give every game a chance each week?" The only reason I see this is one as a plausible idea is it just opens the door for anyone, but with that, some entries may be skipped, but hey, if we continue this bonus for a little bit as well, it couldn't hurt to at least try the combination, and see what happens. Just a thought
  19. That's actually the station. I didn't want to use the vanilla wooden walls for how tall the structure is. ====================================================================================================== Tomahawk hits the record books as the first operating topple tower in the United States, when it first opened in 2005. Tomahawk takes passengers high into the air where the ride carrier rotates 11 times per minute as it approaches the top of the tower. Once there, Tomahawk begins a side-to-side swinging motion with six complete “dips” in various directions at staggering 45-degree angles. Appearing to splash riders into the dicey water below, Tomahawk “drops” passengers almost within reach of the adjacent quene line and main path for a crowd pleaser to watch while relaxing in the craft Village. With a 16-passenger capacity, Tomahawk will accommodate 565 riders per hour.
