  1. But Hard Rock Park wasn't set up to be a "Family Park." They had very few attractions (if any) for smaller kids, and they had a freakin' ACID TRIP dark ride!!! This was not a "family" park. --Robb "Another reason why it was a stupid idea and failed." Alvey What I was trying to say about the coasters were they were pretty tame, so it would then fit a more subtle crowd, but I see your point as well. Like what most people have posted here: It was a good concept, just poorly planned and executed.
  2. I like it! For a small park it sure has a great atmosphere to it, and yes, I think you should continue on it. There is still room for improvement, but for now, you have hit the basics nicely. Also. . . Welcome To TPR!
  3. Make sure to put a fence near that parking lot. You wouldn't want Peeps to sneak in now, would you? The entrance plaza looks a little small and odd looking, but it may just be me. And for another topic, that is all up to you. Having it this way still organizes everything nicley.
  4. Well it's nice for a non custom scenerey park I have to say.
  5. I'm guessing because in the ship, they had some sort of gravintation generator. Seems to make sense. Do illiterate people get the full effect of Alphabet Soup?
  6. Oh my. This is looking great so far!
  7. No, no, no, no. It will still work! Just follow the first set of directions.
  8. The zip file comes with a map I believe, and if you click on it, it should import all of the Dat files to begin with. Let me see if I can reword what Braztaz said. for just the RCT2 game with no expansions: 1. open C drive on 'My computer.' 2. Find program files x86 and click on it. 3. find the folder 'Infrogame Interactive.' 4. Click on the RCT folder. 5. Find the OBJ folder, and simply paste what you want in there. For RCT with expansions i.e Triple Thrill Pack: 1. open C drive on 'My computer.' 2. Find program files x86 and click on it. 3. find the folder 'Atrai.' 4. Click on the RCT triple thrill folder. 5. Find the OBJ folder, and simply paste what you want in there. Hope this helped. And when he says file, he means the DAT files that you want to use in the game. DAT files are the custom scenery, custom rides, custom food shops, and of course, your basic game files.
  9. I loving that color scheme. Maybe a suggestion to improve your score, but have you thought about making the entrance huts invisable? It adds to the realism, and it is not that hard to do.
  10. I bet it is in the car, or maybe not. If Wile E.Coyote had enough money to buy all that Acme crap, why couldn't he just buy dinner?
  11. *sighs* I hope it is some kind of flat. Heck, take out the Screaming Swing.
  12. Interesting If the professor on Gilligan's Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can't he fix a hole in a boat?
  13. ^^ For what they had, it was 'okay', But Mrytle is set more for a family area. Half the people I know that go there were big families, so the rides would then fit, I suppose. But yeah, from my perspective, they could have done better, but for a regular guest at the park, I doubt they would have cared.
  14. I think they are being too harsh then, although I have no idea if that is a custom for chinese people so I have no room to talk.
  15. I was going to put a path on it, but I got lazy. As for the catwalk. . . I raised the wodden coaster about 4 spaces above it. (so like 20 feet above it.) I then went into 8 cars and clicked on the wooden coaster, and lowered it 4 spaces and ta da!
  16. Sounds like mine. As long as they care about digging around. Why is it called Alcoholics Anonymous when the first thing you do is stand up and say, 'My name is Bob and I am an alcoholic'?
  17. You have an excuse to pay for soup instead of a big meal at a restaurant If a person owns a piece of land do they own it all the way down to the core of the earth?
  18. Yup, you're definatley improving! Great job!
  19. ^ Yeah, they all seem to be gone for good. . . Tad of a teaser for next update:
  20. interesting idea have to say. My favorite part has to be the first drop with the 270 turn. Reminds me of Great Bear at Hershey Park.
  21. Braztaz: Yes, but only one computer in the house has XP, and that is in my brothers room, so I have to sneak on and move things before he doesn't notice. Dotrobot: For now I rather keep it this way. If I were to merge it, the capacity will not be good enough for a park that has had over 8,000 peeps in it. Six Flags Enthuseast: yes, Belgianguy comes on here from time to time, and thank you! Today I have focused on the backstage area of the park, so here's what I have done so far today: Here is a nice new entrance logo: The turnaround for Flash: The top of Goliath's lift: A picture of the (defunct) Batman show: And lastly, The area behind the Stadium:
  22. Agreed. You remind me of James (RCTNW) on New Element. He builds crazy structures and what not. This is looking great, Mike!
  23. ^^ Once I add my Kiddie coaster I will.
