  1. Just an improvement: The line has been rerouted for an upcoming expansion in the back. Nothing big will be added, so don't get your hopes up for a big coaster. Possibly my guess is an expansion to the dwindling amount of kiddy rides missing for a "family park." As for the water park: lack of inspiration is making it hard to work on, but with some much needed freetime, I'll see what I can do.
  2. It's been a B^%ch to get a job over there, for me at least. Still have not had sucsess. From knowing friends that work there, it all depends what you're first hired as. Both of my friends were hired as ushers 2 years ago, and they still hold that position.
  3. I don't see the point of revamping Star tours, really. I mean I understand new flim and such, but I have never liked how when Disney has revamped older rides, the results aren't as great as they should be. I have mix feelings over the change, but it will soon change, I suppose.
  4. My Goodness! It's a Vekoma Alley. Headbanging to the max! Nice update. I have nothing to ad as it all looks nice, like always.
  5. ^ Parks lack in them now, so I at least say that is a good thing. However, the fact that Six Flags/ Cedar Fair use these investments as a way to raise up the coaster cout is stupid. And if Mangement thinks that just because the park adds a new coaster, Attendance, at least for something like that, will not bring in so many desired people. Good long term investments though. . .
  6. ^ Agreed. Most parks own by any of these two companies really have lost the charm of what use to be, and with all this overcrowding, I don't find it to be "great." If the park had room to NOT take out anything else to replace it, I rather it stop, at least with a coaster count. Like I said with Knott's, The park is land locked, and yet they still cram coasters in. Cedar point/ Cedar fair needs to settle down at least.
  7. Mall of America sure has changed since I have been there. . . Hope you guys have a fun time out there!
  8. ^ exactly. Take any major incident, and you can see deaths (at least most) are caused by faulty safety checks, or self injury. If you want a laugh, see the deaths of Disney. And just for the record, I did a statistical paper on coaster safety last semester and I can say you have a better chance dieing on the street, for god knows what reason then dieing on a coaster.
  9. Did you change the track type to just Crooked house? because the mode does not allow for invisible track.
  10. Well happy birthday! Ditto d: There is no need to rush these things, though.
  11. I read this awhile back when I use to only "surf the site" Looks great!
  12. ^ I'm just trying to take the game more seriously. This is my second park I have made. In fact, I may post the old one, and you can see how much of a diffrence this one is. EDIT: No need for a seperate topic, so here is a DL for it. This was not the last version of this; however, I have lost the current version. The two are very diffrent, but this is an idea of how much I have changed. http://rctgrotto.coastergrotto.com/file.jsp?argId=1041
  13. Holy Hell! This is just wonderful, Dmaxsba! I can't wait to use this version.
  14. I know as the times change, so do the ideas, experiences, and overall attitudes of a park. I just don't want Knott's to be overrun with expansions and such. Something big coming? I don't see how it would work. It would bring me to the park more, but I don't see their being a big overall effect, besides a spike in Haunt visits I think. I do Support Cedar Fair's actions to keep the park filled with guest, I just don't want to see them take out the last jewel in the park. . .
  15. I actually say two. One to be like the trolly cars, but since this is a movie studio type park, my mind scartches on the idea of another tram ride, like a monorail. I looked around in the park already, and I love what you did! The whole park is so alive, and I love how it has such a Disney esqe to the park! Great job, Mike.
  16. I object manipulated the ride to get the entrances underground, then made the ride invisible, so yeah, it's hacked. And now you can see why I needed those peeps. They add more detail to it, so thank you for that!
  17. ^ You pretty much have to cattle pry them to the exit. There are several ways to do this: 1. Hand pick them, ( ) and place them at the exit gates. 2. If you said they are bunched together in one spot, delete a few path so they will stop going in circles. 3. sometimes using no entrance signs can help stop the circle. you need to guide them to the entrance somehow, so I hope this helps. EDIT: if you like, you can PM me the park so I can fix the issue and send it back to you if the problem is still an issue.
  18. Another picture of the radio control hats: Progress on the water area is--slow, currently; however, I'm liking the floor plan I currently have set up, so the dirt is moving, again. Feel free to comment with your opinions, as I love to here what you guys have to say.
  19. Yeah, it's this one I use to have, but it only last 21 days: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm This one is the easiest one to convert from one to the other from my expierence.
  20. I was already aware of this because as soon as Silver Bullet came, the park went downhill. I think the park would have done well without it. From it's openning, to now, I have never seen much of a wait, besides on weekends/ Haunt days. It's ashame to see the park just cram attractions in, but John, you're right. The park is in dire need of revenue/ attandance, and the park can't just rely on the revenue created by haunt.
  21. ^ Its a custom coaster, so the creator, I guess, made them.
  22. ^ I know But what I don't like is the park is loosing it's historic charm, fast. Before the take over of Cedar Fair in the late 90's, the park had this wonderous charm to it I believe. It wasn't big, and it was well rounded with rides. Now the park is crammed in. Don't get me wrong though, I appreciate the calibur of rides Cedar Fair has put in, as it unites coasters fantaics with a closer drive to recieve thrills. My only concern is the eventually take over of what this park was to represent. This makes me think back when Disney was denied an offer to buy the property. Heck, if you looked at the plans with what Disney were to do, It would still have that charm, minus the obscure coaster skyline.
