Carlsbad Gardens [RCT2]
djbrcace1234 replied to SoCalCoasters's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I suggest all the people that have been blunt to just stop. It's his first park so of course it is not going to be the best. Criticism is nice, but just attacking it and making a true fuss out of it is not helping, either. Think back when you first played this, and look at how much you improved since then. This is all a learning expierance, so I know, you want to teach a person what is the right way or not, but attacking someone like this is just unneeded. on another note: I like the entrance plaza, and the coasters. I also enjoyed that rapids ride! but, I have to agree with the others about adjusting the height by 5 feet. Take my advice and think before you build. Look at other parks to get an idea about buildings/rides to further improve this park. You have started working on the basics well, and I know you can improve. -
Whitlock Gardens [RCT2]

There is something about that Grill building I just love. So simple, yet elegant in it's own way. The shuttle is a nice addition, and I'm eager to see what is in store next! -
Let me point them out then, because I have a few flats in there, but yes, I wanted a nice Plaza area. I have circled all flats, shows, and tracked kiddy rides in all areas right now: EDIT: I missed one. There is a ride next to Bizarro called "Black Mamba." And no. Coaster wise I wanted a sixflags park feel, but the enviroment is very picky and un Six Flags like. I just wanted something out of the ordinary for a Sixflags park.

[WIP] Giovanola Coaster CTR

I think the RCT3 community is small on this site, but what you have going on there is nice! -
You know, just thinking about this: The Bizarro theme has taken shape on 'Medusa' over at GADV, so I don't see why they can't do that for 'Scream' either. It would just take away from the fact that the coaster is built on the old parking lot, and in a way, take the theme in a diffrent way. Just a thought though. It's been on my mind. Granted, it would look weird, but I never see Scream with much of a wait. Can't wait to see what they do on the Summit in the next few months.

Well, lets see. I have had a few jobs, but never paid. I interned for California Assembly Member Jeff Miller, and later I got the chance to intern for Congressman Ed Royce. Both were great experiences, and I'm honored; however, I wish I could find an actual paying job! Right now I'm on the hunt, still, but not giving up. Also, it will be intresting to see how I can juggle a job and 18 units in college.

Take your time, though. There is no need to rush. I rather see qaulity over quantity of updates, and so far, I like all I am seeing. Please keep at this one, Nexy, it's great. -

Very nice TR! Looks like one of the better Sixflags parks from this day. Can't wait to go on my road trip! -

^ I agree with everything you said. -
I have to agree with Jedimaster1227. What good is that going to do. A little fan page has little voice to actually getting anything done. Sure, it rallies people, but then when you want to take action, no one seems motivated. I don't see how that will do much. Going to guest relations and sending them letters is a diffrent story.

Well sir, I think we found the problem there. Never been to the park, but I understand how quick parks can change. -

Great start! Love the theming, and I like the compact woodie. I like the one with the teepee's as well, simple, but elegant. -

First off, Welcome to TPR! It is always nice to see new Rct2 players come because the number is low here. My only suggestion so far is prehaps putting some bank turns on Nitro? I feel if I was riding that, I would be squished to the outside, and I would prefer if I could reride such a nice coaster! It does sound like a big project, and I hope to see more, soon! -

Adventure Beach [RCT2]

Figured. And I just have fallen in love with the supports you used for the corkscrews! I have done that before, but the Arrow coaster I have in my park outdates that classic Signature Arrow design. My only criticism I have is yes, you have supports in the water, put how about a concrete slab on the surface as well. Just a thought Still great work Kraken & Manta!
