  1. I am grateful for every year Ninja continues to run.
  2. Yeah every time the subject comes up I just sigh, cause I know we're in for a long 10-20 pages. But yeah... airtime!
  3. Wow. Blue track drop after the high five is up. Can you say hair time in the back!
  4. Still like my once per visit front car ride on Scream, which is the only seat worth riding on any floorless imo. Other than that, I could care less about it or any other B&M floorless design. I'm happy they painted it, and it's no longer an eyesore. But sitting next to the awesomeness that will be Twisted Colossus means I get to care even less. Moving on...
  5. Eh, while not glass smooth, I feel it gives the ride a bit of intensity that some of it's force less cousins do not have. But I've never had a bad ride on it. Now Riddler's Revenge on the other hand...
  6. This! I don't get it either. I'd much rather see the area around Jet Stream get an upgrade honestly.
  7. I think the REAL air is going to be on that second hill before the high five.
  8. That green track hi five section just looks wrong...in all the right ways!
  9. ^ I heard those rumors, but they never made sense to me. Why name the area Screampunk, and then change Scream's name when it might finally actually fit the ride. Secondly, all the changes people were hoping for with Scream, seemed like something more likely to happen on an off year, not the same year they would already be opening a multi-million dollar ride next door. There is still most likely a pretty strict budget they have to meet.
  10. ^ Why would they change the name? It's a decade old ride. That would just confuse people.
  11. My issue with that area was always the fact that just wasn't any reason to walk down that way. Colossus was boring, Scream was an eyesore and there was no food, no place to rest and no flats. It was depressing. It looks as if at least some of those issues are on their way to much improvement. I'm not the biggest fan of the Full Throttle area either, but it's kinda grown on me.
  12. ^ No offense, but I don't know what you're talking about. RMC is adding tons of wood to the existing structure for integrity and cohesiveness. Have you been following the construction at all?
  13. Screw safety or practicality, we want aesthetics! !!
  14. Right. It's less of an eyesore now, especially for photo ops. But make no mistake, it's still the same Scream. They could dress this ride up like a Christmas tree. Still the same mediocre ride.
  15. ^ That's primer. It's not the final vibrant orange.
  16. The funny thing is, I see nothing wrong or slow about TC's construction process. Nothing. It's not a B&M. It's a complete conversion of one major coaster to another. Having watched both Iron Rattler and New Texas Giant go up, this feels very much in line with those.
  17. Yeah, I don't get why some people don't understand this.
  18. But...doesn't all that get done in the planning stage. Im sure they aren't playing by ear as the days go by. Ok, lets not compare it to fury 325 and thunderbird...lets compare it to wicked cyclone... 1) None of those rides are being built in earthquake prone California. 2) None of those rides featured over 8,000ft of racing track and structure needing to be cut away and reworked for this remake. 3) None of those rides will have the weather schedule that California has. 1) that's true... 2) wicked cyclone... 3) like snow...its kinda a big factor. I'm just being a different voice here. I don't remember Iron rattler or new texas giant taking an unusually long time, to myself and others, to construct. But then again, I may not have paid as close of attention to those projects. Personally i'm not trying to rag on the park but it does seem to be taking some time... They did take this long, even longer in the case of Texas Giant. It's February, and for my money RMC is kicking ass on this project , considering all the prep work that needed to be done. This isn't a normal steel coaster construct. This is a very large project. Larger than Wicked Cyclone as that ride is a single track. Most of us thought intially this would be a two year project.

  20. Yes. It's perfectly okay for a coaster to be plain old crowd pleasing fun. That's what I love about watching Robb's videos. They find a way to have fun on just about everything, even if it's not in their "top 10".
  21. What a beautiful looking ride. Once they paint the old wood, stunning. Should be one of the most photographed coasters in the world.
  22. Wow, how time flies! Goliath turns 15 years old today!
