I305 cost 25 million. I guess Batman cost around 5 or 10. Where are you getting your numbers from?
I don't know, but it doesn't really matter. Unless there is a big change in company spending, they're not spending that much on one ride.
^ Rides seem to load at varying speeds around the park, so fingers crossed TC is one of the good ones. Drop Of Doom for example, is surprisingly well executed every time I have ridden it.
^ I agree. Everyone has their personal tastes, and for my money, Twisted Colossus and Wicked Cyclone are my two most anticipated rides of 2015, in that order.
I am fancinated by the idea of racing blue and green tracks, with slightly different forces, all in one ride. Wicked Cyclone, because it looks like an even more intense version of Medusa.
It does seem weird to see multiple airtime hills on a ride at SFMM. That's why I laugh when people post that they wish Colossus had been left as it was. Seriously?
^ I was going to bring up El Toro and Skyrush and how people said those rides "could have been more", and then they opened and suddenly those complaints were drowned out by praise. This is exactly the type of coaster SFMM needed.
Yes, Twisted Colossus could have been more, a lot more. But damn the ride is almost done and people are still harping on what it's not?
The old, boring Colossus is dead and gone and isn't coming back (thank God). What has replaced it is a ride SFMM has needed for a long time...an airtime machine.
If that's not good enough for some of you, we'll that's too bad. I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it and probably will have it somewhere in my top 10. Old Colossus ranked about 127 on my list.
YMMV.
